Alfreton tickets are as good as sold out online, although they seem to have released a few South Stand tickets near the away fans. Still leaving a block in between, with a net in place that seems like a waste of empty seats (200) to me. You see plenty of Prem games where they leave 2/3 seats between the fans, even Man U v Liverpool. Is there really going to be any trouble between the South Stand massive and Alfreton?
Suprised we haven't heard anything from the club about opening the away terrace. We must have sold 10,500 now..

So they've been allocated but they might not turn up if that makes sense.

The club have just posted a news article about Alfreton tickets, another copy and paste job? "All the seats are sold but there are family terrace and Dribuild terrace tickets available.. which you can secure online" Online ticketing system: 0 availabe in the family terrace, 2 available in the Dribuild terrace, and a hundred or so available in the South Stand.

That terrace is always available. Usually only for away fans. This time Gasheads can use it. Why does it need a special announcement?

The surge in demand is going to be pretty ridiculous if we win on Saturday, or god forbid we win and results go our way. I say results, I mean result really. Maybe they're saving it till then.

I still don't see why you think they are separate tickets. Instead of selling, say 2000 Dribuild Terrace tickets (normal length of it), they sell, say 3,000 DT tickets (extension included). Anyone with a ticket can stand anywhere along the whole terrace.

I just don't understand it, all seats have been sold for a while now,I then buy tickets for east terrace then the next day 150 seats become available, what's all that about....

Exactly the way I've been thinking all along, can't see why they would need to make distinction, when it's only going to be us in there.

Anyone with a ticket can stand anywhere along the whole terrace. it would be nice to have some clarity over it though. Some people may wish to know if they can roll up and stand anywhere (e.g. right behind the dugouts, with a pretty decent view) or whether they will be forced to stand in the 'away' terrace area. Will the club safety officer, or the Police, demand/suggest that people use the away entrance? I can imagine the criticism the club/Police will get if there are massive queues at the, frankly tiny, turnstiles near the shop and the away turnstiles are empty. Let's be honest, none of us really even know the licensing arrangements for the terrace. e.g. is the sterile area actually licensed to stand on?
