The title of this thread is spot on. The clueless one took us out of the Football League. Every other manager on the history of our wonderful club, failed to do so. Jesus man, do you ever give it a rest, I think everyone on here and beyond knows how you feel about DC and MT is there really any need to keep banging on and on and on, I've never risen to it before but it really does grind you down when on virtually every thread you pop up spouting the same old bollocks, we get it, you don't like/rate them. Well said. I really can't believe that anyone could continue writing the same thing every day without getting fed up with writing the same old stuff. Really very sad. Wait for it.... True though every word.... I only speak the truth

To be fair to the previous Managers none of them were Managing us in the Conference so you can't really compare them at the moment. If we go up then the end of next season will be a fairer time to compare the Managers.

In a way I disagree, you can tell that Clarke has built a well balanced side that work hard for each other regardless of division. Something that Ward , Buckle MM etc didn't do. In that respect DC has succeeded.

Brilliant video.I have changed my mind Clarke is a great manager and that Matthew Taylor is one super striker. Veyr inspiring, and heartfelt words from the guy at the beginning, looks as though he has been watching Rovers longer than me. I remember my dear old dad taking me to Eastville back in 1964,I was probably as young as that little lad.Brought a tear to my eye when I saw him singing Irene. Thanks for sharing it.

Despite what those with an agenda might claim, Clarke never managed us in League Two (because of the transfer deadline) and as soon as he became the 'manager' he's adapted to the role/circumstances and succeeded.

Back to the thread topic, DC is the best manager we have had in years. He didn't take us down, John Ward did by assembling a poor squad and not getting results for the 85% of the season he was in charge. Clarke had to work miracles on a very poor quality side that would struggle in the division we're in now. Clarke instilled a mentality in the club that has been missing for years, brought in players on short contracts with intensives for their success, found a balance between experience and youth, and above all, plays good football. Like the OP said, he's genuine. You only need to speak to the guy to know that.
