Just read that Forest Green only plan on giving us 750 tickets if we finish 2nd, surely we are entitled to more considering we took nearly 2000 last time?

Where did you read this?
Ridiculous if true, even more of a reason to get the job done on Saturday.

The rules state:
10% is 503, so whilst 750 might be ridiculous, those are the rules so that's what Barnet (or Grimsby) will have to put up with...
*edit* incidentally...
Never knew this...so of there are spaces in the away tie, it doesn't affect Barnet or Grimsby's income at all, just annoys the away supporters.

Can't we just cut their allocation in response?

Can't we just cut their allocation in response? Correct. And I really hope the club does. I don't blame FRG one bit as they won't want to give any hint of an advantage to the opposing team (which allowing the opposition a a large following would). However, for the same reasons, I hope we do the same. Forget the potential few grand we'll miss out on; give ourselves every chance of the big pay day of getting to Wembley and/or back to the Football League instead by reducing the support for the away side.

We would have to give FGR a minimum of 1100 anyway, which I doubt they would sell

Forest Green already have their ticket details on their website. Away team get the north terrace and the rest for home fans. Goes on Internet general sale on Sunday at midday.

There is no way any allocation we get will get beyond ST holders, and most of them will probably not get one anyway.

well if they have any trouble with Gas in the home end after only giving us 700 then they only have themselves to blame!

Well I hope they're prepared for a few hundred Gas invading their home end! I've heard of several from t'other side of town who will go along to support FGR should we meet them in the semi's or at Wembley. Still, I think that fortune will be smiling down on us tomorrow, so it won't happen.

Reminds me of when we played Swindon at Ashton Gate, and the 82'ers turned up too.

You'd have to be a pretty sad City fan to bother to come to cheer on Forest Green in a first leg, get a life.
As for me, already awaiting the home tickets going on general sale on Sunday if we are playing them.

"The balance of the net proceeds after deductions shall be divided between the two clubs in the Promotion Final Tie at a rate set by the Board of Directors prior to the commencement of the season."
So I guess split 50:50 after all their expenses unless there was a plan in place at the start for a club with a massive following meeting a club with a tiny one...

Sat in front of me! **** Know a few people in Stroud!!! Reeling in favours......
