There are fans who go every game or nearly every game Fans who go to about half Fans who go once or twice a season Fans who go once in a blue moon but have been going since 1950-whatever
They're all fans and added together they don't fit into the ground. But I don't think anyone deserves being branded a part timer or whatever

If only I was unemployed I could have got a ticket, couldn't get one on line as they shut it down, they never answered the phone...

I know some fans who have been to nearly every game and do a lot for the club who have missed out too.
Big shame.

Is this including FGR tickets? I find it hard to believe they have sold all theirs so quickly?

disappointing a lot of loyal fans will miss out while tourists pack the mem but what can you do ? hopefully we can beat forest green and there will be room for everyone at Wembley. just out of interest how many tickets were being sold per person ?

Pretty sure they upheld the 1 per ST rule. General sale is a free for all.

That is pretty incredible to sell out that fast. Cannot remember if that has ever happened before? As for the record attendance I assume it'll end up being less than saturday with the larger away allocation and segregation as well as FGR unlikely selling their allocation

Heh people. we are all gasheads. ALL of us. Everyone of us. Old, young, rich, poor, unemployed, employed, self employed, ill, fit, clever with technology or useless with technology. We need to stick together, not fall apart. Those swines want us to turn on each other. We gotta stick it to the Man you know. Stick together. They want to divide us. Divide and rule. Divide us and rule us. Yeah, rule us, like a thing that is... ruled by someone else [not us]. Get us fighting ourselves. But we gotta fight these pigs. A man will lose his hammer, but find a neighbour's hammer, yeah, so then they can share that hammer? You know what I mean? The 10,000+ gasheads with tickets could be swimming instead, or reading a book, or kissing a goat, or whatever. They could even be in BS3 watching some billionaire's attempt at a 'branding' exercise. There are no glory hunters when you support a dung football team in a small stadium that would be bulldozed by now if certain lady gardens hadn't bent us over a barrel and bummed us up the a hole. Even those who've been to Wembley & Cardiff have seen 3 losses from 4! We love each other. One love. Jah Rastafari. Have a smoke, or stand next to someone skinning up [passive smoke is theft though] It is on TV as well, thank god. That was a broadcast sponsored by Dale Vince & the Dalai Lama [who incidentally is appearing soon at Aldershot Town FC! - True story]

Just heard one woman got 14 tickets at the Kingswood shop with two credit card transactions. Don't like to criticise but that seems a bit unfair on others desperately trying to get their hands on one ticket online etc. I feel a good few regulars have missed out which i understand but find sad.

Again, not having a season ticket doesn't make you any less of a Gashead. I've been to as many games as I can afford this season, I'd buy a ST in a heartbeat if it came with free travel, but unfortunately it doesn't, so I can't afford to go to the mem as often as I'd like.
However, if someone miraculously decides to start following Rovers because a big game is coming up, they can absolutely * off when it comes to ticket allocation. I don't go to many games, sure, but I'd still turn up when I could if we were playing in the ninth tier.

Not sure I agree with the 'true fans vs part-timers' argument if I'm honest.
Why not just join ANY of the priority groups? Membership for example is £9. £9!! And these people who go to 'almost every game', why not buy an ST? Even if you miss a few, you still save money.
Sunday's farcical situation for away tickets, I could see why people were upset. But not so sure about the home leg.

For Info - FGR's supporters club is £15 a year and they don't seem to offer any benefits except on away travel. I also heard some annoyed on their forum that they didn't get any 'priority' on tkts. Maybe our one is really good value? I always join. Am I perfectly happy with them and the 'fan's directors'? No. But the benefits outweigh the negatives. And the little card is quite cool
