***PARENTAL ADVISORY***
1:23:12 - Pipe kicks the ball out of play. Can see big Parkin is not impressed. Pipe appears to swear. Alot. Shows fantastic team spirit if you listen to what is said.
This is all very well, but would you have a hatchback?

Telling you're team mate to f**k off several times is seen as rallying the troops?

CONSTANT moaning to the ref in 1st half when he was on our wing. And funnily enough he hardly touched the ball all game, so really had nothing to moan about.

This incident again shows how we are too honest. Immediately before Pipe clears as he and Matt Taylor are running for the ball, Pipe gives a well aimed shove in Taylor's back. Taylor tries to hold his footing, but is off balance and eventually goes over.
The "professional" thing to do is to go over heavily immediately after Pipes push and we get a dangerous free kick from a short corner position.
Well, we would if it wasn't that bell-end Swabey refereeing.

When Harrison jumped in at there keeper he went down like someone sniped him the adjacent hill.

Telling you're team mate to feck off several times is seen as rallying the troops? It all depends on the individual, i know people who would respond to a right bollocking in a good way whilst others would sulk and need their ego tickling when they did something wrong. might be this reason he did what he did, but i forgot its pipey and he's a twat

It's almost as if he didn't trust that brilliant referee to see it and make the right decision!? BTW - Am I the only one who thought that whilst Clough overall, was a prize lady gardening clown, the kick-out was hardly a huge kick as I had expected when people were going on about it.

thanks for finding. I really wanted to watch it from the TV angle. It just confirmed everything I thought at the time. We really looked comfortable until the last 30mins and even then it wasn't exactly the Alamo. FGR pose virtually no threat from open play unless they sort themselves out by Sunday. Sadly in football though its just as much about having people like Parkin, Guthrie, Clough and Raccine up for corners and free-kicks, as it is about actually trying to be creative. I thought we passed well in first half, and even the so-called 'long balls' were mainly actually accurate long passes [such as for the goal], as we had obviously spotted a weakness in their defence. I can't imagine they could be worse than that on Sunday, and if they are it will be Pennock's fault. What a tripe eater he is. Given how rubbish their centre-halfs were, I somehow fear Coles playing on Sunday because he would (presumably) be able to organise them better and see the bigger picture. Well he certainly couldn't organise them worse! Ditto Fleetwood. Surely Norwood couldn't be worse than him?? he hardly touched the ball for 60mins and his head was in 'why doesn't anyone pass to me / passive aggressive' mode. Also, whilst I though Guthrie was poor on the floor, he won hearly all his headers and flcik-ons and if they can someone sort out a system where someone might get those flick-ons, they could trouble us. Thank god Pennock is a crap tactician so far. Reluctantly I have to give Pipe their MOTM, because he was involved in everything and never did anything wrong [could harshly say it was surprising he didn't keep Taylor's goal out]. I thought their best player though was probably Dale Bennett. he looked a good find. Very very impressed with Danny Higginbottom's summarising. Makes a great change to have a knowledgeable and fair ex-player doing that, rather than some thicko who is just scratching an ex-player living [ADAM; come downstairs love, your dinner is on the table you lady garden].Clough obviously should have gone whatever card he got for the kick, as he should have been booked for the thuggish thump into Taylor's back in the first half. 0% attempt to get the ball. Several of these incidents were relatively easy for me to spot at the game, so slow-mo was hardly even needed to confirm them. Even the one down by the corner when Ellis pushed the ball past his man, went to run around him, and the guy just blocked him off, clearly NOT within playing distance of the ball. SO obvious, and the ref was stood right there. Absolutely galling.
