Optimism and overconfidence aren't the same thing!

I feel a sense of deja vu.
This time last year, I sat in bed thinking about the chance of us going down. No chance I said. Buoyed by the past weekend's win away to Wycombe, along with the fact that we only needed a point to stay up against a team with nothing to play for and that was if only our 2 relegation rivals at the bottom were to win as well.
I have that exact same supreme confidence this evening. I've almost forgot about tomorrow's game, I am that confident. I hate it because often when I am that confident then that is when things go wrong, so I keep reminding myself that the job is far from done yet and we will need to treat tomorrow's game like any other game this season and not into it thinking the job is done.

We're one goal up. That can be wiped out in a matter of seconds. Make no mistake, FGR will think they have nothing to lose, it's a dangerous scoreline snd we have got to be at our best.

Forget grounded. If I was grounded I wouldn't bother going . We are a class above this shower so after tomorrow all we need to do is beat whoever goes through. If I didn't believe we could do it why would I bother going.

If the players share the same optimism of us supporters then we'd be 3-0 down at half time. Good thing DC will have them firmly grounded.

Ellis must start. I thought Bliss did well today but you play your best team and for me Harrison's in it.

We still have another huge game of football yet. These threads will become gold to the sheeds if we were to fail tommorow! Don't you f*ckers jinx it! UTG! Do we now have permission to start this again.
Some of us were a lot more confident, than a few others, that we would get to Wembley.
