I ordered first class rather than special delivery as didn't want the hassle of having to pic them up when they are inevitably delivered with no one home.
That and I didn't really fancy re-mortgaging the house to get some tickets to a non-league football match delivered.

I asked the question when ordering them. He said all early ordered tickets ( he meant yesterday and today ) would definitely be posted Monday for receipt the following day. Special delivery that is. I have just tracked my Special Delivery order tickets purchase, completed 9.11am yesterday States "0% of tickets despatched. Tickets for this event are currently being printed and will be despatched shortly" What's the website for tracking delivery? Is your order reference also your tracking number?

I went for special delivery after hearing of Topper Gas see tickets experience from last time.

I didn't get to go last time as I never used to watch Rovers when I was younger hence why I don't want to risk missing out another time. I'm so excited and I just can't hide it!

If you've arranged special delivery - as I have - then someone will have to be in to sign for the tickets. They will not end up at the Post Office. I was told the courier will attempt a second delivery the folllowing day but if there is still no-one home they were be returned to sender! That's not true if it's Royal Mail special delivery. If you're not in to sign for them (and they will be delivered before 13.00 hrs), the tickets will be returned to your local delivery office (not post office) where you can collect them later that day or next day. They won't attempt a second delivery, and they certainly won't return to sender. They'll be kept for 3 weeks before that happens. If it's some other courier anything could happen, since they all have different arrangements. But I think special delivery means only Royal Mail, otherwise it would be called next day delivery.

Thanks everyone. Yes, I did see that on the confirmation email and understand why sent out late, to stop the ticket touts, which can hardly apply to this game. Sending out Monday by Special Delivery is fine with me. Would you prefer Harry or McGee? Has to be Harry humming denis denis sorry but you started it

Can anyone confirm whether it's possible to have the tickets sent by special delivery to an address other than the billing address? I'm thinking it might be best to get'em sent to my work...

Type "see tickets tracker" into Google. It gives you a page where you type in your order reference number and postcode. No need for email address.

A lot of couriers text you to give a date/time that they're coming.

Info from see tickets:
Re. Standard delivery -
@seetickets: @xplosiv77 The first class tickets will definitely be posted in time, there is just a slightly higher risk of them being lost in the post.
Re. Special delivery -@seetickets: @xplosiv77 Hi LJ. They will go to your local sorting office and you will be left a while you were out card. RML
