Hang on a minute... If 1000 people took 35k, that's 350m. Those 1000 people could help rovers far more than winning the final would.
I wish you were my maths teacher
I wish he was my bank manager

Whilst all of us at GTFC are more than keen to get our sales to 15-20K, and that our current sales rate is currently more than yours, I think the reality is this:- - current sales (sold) probably circa 10K - this undoubtedly our worst turn out at Wembley or Cardiff ever. All expectations were 18-20K - confusing that GTFC tier 1 was sold out Friday and then miraculously are on sale again over the weekend / today - I don't think we have 5-10K of fans waiting in the wings to buy tier 2 tickets, so don't get your hopes up - therefore reality says 10-12K GTFC - if indeed our sales rate is presently higher than yours, then again, unfortunately, I think you are at about the fan base you are taking
Hopefully, thanks a lot to all you BR fans, we yet may beat the Wembley Conference Play Off record, just unfortunate we (GTFC) could not match past fans base and annihilated it outright and for posterity
That said, the 10,000 we will take are more of our core supporters and less of the glory hunters and thus more should know our songs. Surprising at Wembley how many of your own 'fans' don't sing
Thus the 10,000 will hopefully be in good voice and make the day a good atmosphere for all of us

Am I wrong? Lol!!! Yes:
35,000 people with 1,000 each.
Look at it in figures, 35,000,000.
You have calculated it to be 10x that

I knew that, was just testing my fellow forumers......... Also the math is a side issue to the point in hand(holds hands up). For accuracy then, if 10,000 of us had 35k and we put it together, that could help the club more than winning next week. Since we'd have 3.5 billion.

Not bad is it!

For accuracy then, if 10,000 of us had 35k and we put it together, that could help the club more than winning next week. Since we'd have 3.5 billion. one time there would have been a difference depending on whether you were using a British billion or a US billion. A British billion was a million, million, i.e. 1,000,000,000,000 (12 noughts), whereas a US billion was "only" a thousand million (9 noughts), or 1,000,000,000. Nowadays the British government works with the US interpretation of a billion.
Sooooo, using your example; one would have, 35,000 people with 10,000 = 350,000,000 , so not a billion using either of the above interpretations I am afraid.

need to sell 112 more tkts for the record The record is already beaten. Add the neutrals that they aren't counting right now to the occasion and the figure is close to 50k.

Thanks twitter.com/conferencefootyNot very helpful! Oh well, I suppose it's not likely to go up by more than 3 or 4k between now and then anyway. I just hope their 'full latest figures' don't include any mention of ratios!
