Realistically guys he was not going to sign with us in The Conference, two other league clubs are after him and are prepared to take the risk - we save money and get players who want to play for the club! I agree 100% with this. I didn't think for one second he would play for us this season.

If Gow had signed we would have probably been one of our highest paid players, and possibly in the Conference, but knowing our luck could have spent most of the season injured. I'm not even sure where he'd fit into DC's favoured 4-4-2 formation if he'd stayed.
Assuming JW did plan on stepping down this summer Gow's signing was an odd one, lets just hope DC's given the money saved on Gow's, and Harrold's, wages to spend on other attacking players.

Very disappointed about this if true. A classy player at L2 level, let alone Conference.

Happy about it. The deal that was the final nail to our relegation. Gow for our only real threat and we paid both wages but could have kept Richards and had Gow for 20K. That was the difference from league or conference football
