My lad was coming from Norwich and a coach load turned up at Watford station. They had no colours on but some had blue sweat shirts on and they threw a can at him which just missed his car, he was on his own and in colours.

I gotta say a lot of their keyboard warriors are really starting to try my patience since the match.

People in the local houses were tending to him, & called an ambulance, so I walked on by and let them get on with it. No colours. It was only later I heard he was a fishman. Certainly were some young gobby ones around.

Yes GT fans were good in stadium today loud got behind their team BUT before match they tried (did) to cause trouble at pub in Baker st also me and my son were being harassed goaded by a few on wembely way and when we got on to where the concourse splits in two they decided to mingle in on our side and started to trip kick my sons heels calling us silly names which did not bother me until one started pushing my son in the back i turned and told them to grow up and then got a face full of beer and my son flipped twatted him and got nicked i am not condoning wht he did but he missed the game and i am sorry but from what i witnessed a lot of their fans were lairy and looking for a fight and i for one am glad we beat them. your lad may have been the one my brother saw. He told me he saw someone getting arrested. About 1.15. BTW - Before any goes on about glamourising violence, my brother was with a female friend and was simply relaying the info to me. neither of us have the slightest interest in violence or bravado. I was waiting for him for about 12-15 minutes at the very top of the Wembley Way ramp, and at times it was not a pleasant atmosphere. Sad for what should be a nice day out. A lot of young-ish, drunk Fish fans giving it all large, and trying to intimidate Rovers fans of all ages and sexes. Really not needed. Stewards and Police were having to be on their toes, and horses got more 'proactive' as well. Yes, a few Rovers fan were a bit mouthy back, but really not many compared to Fish boys. That is what I saw with my own eyes.

Thanks but no they were not even interested in what i had to say the Grimsby fans slipped away they did not even grab the one my son had the altercation with who was the main villain in all this. As i say he missed game was not let out until 9.15pm still will not let it ruin a great day otherwise. COULDN'T BELIEVE WHAT I SAW.......A LOAD OF GRIMSBY E.D.L.....GIVING IT LARGE...UNTIL THE POLICE GOT INVOLVED

Sad that we glamourise fighting I don't think we are, You cant say the o/p was glamorising anything ,he came on and told us what happened to him and his son on what should have been a good day out, TBH if people are pushing and pushing then most people will respond by lashing out, it's apparently encoded deep into our psyche. All i can say from my point of view is that if it would have been my dad (R.I.P) I too would have lashed out not for the fun of it but to protect someone i loved, when protecting your family or very close friend it's an automatic response ,you don't start thinking oh shall I jump in and help you just do it. Tis a weird thing the mind as if it's someone who isn't close your brain allows you to weigh up the risks of getting involved, but with family your in there before you actually realise what you are doing and only worry about the consequences later. As i stated previously if it was my lad i would be proud knowing that he had my back

Every club has 'em I'm afraid. The one's I met were sweet. Funny accents mind. Indeed they do. We have our pondlife but so do all clubs. I was in London for two days and didn't see anything but a lot of good feeling between the two sets of fans. Met some top Gas fans - you are a very chilled bunch it would appear. Funny accents? Pot calling the kettle black and all that. Us mariners had to watch this just so we could learn to understand what you were saying to us. www.bing.com/videos/search?q=youtube+worzel+gummidge&qpvt=youtube+worzel+gummidge&FORM=VDRE#view=detail&mid=20312A65FFF5375A52F620312A65FFF5375A52F6Final post from me - I think you have a half decent chance of getting promoted next year as well. I am a betting man and know you will be real outsiders with the bookies but I think you may be worth a punt. If not see you in 2016/2017.
