Released by Reading. Make it happen DC! He still loves the Gas!

While he's a brilliant keeper would his wages be any lower than Mildenhall's?

I think there's a suspicion that Mildy will be here next season.
I hope so, he's a good keeper and will be one of the best at league 2 level

Anderson first choice with Mildy no 2 and coach / scout would be a good move I reckon.

According to the BEP Mildy is here next season so that's that.

I must admit, I seemed to miss every game where Mildy supposedly had a mare this season. Every time I have seen him he has been solid and I couldn't really understand how Puddy had got in in front of him.
So for those who did witness his dip in form, what happened? Was it just silly mistakes? Did he look like he had lost his confidence?
I say this because the Mildy I saw last could easily play in league 2 for us.

The keeper who took us down. He's lucky I didn't go to Reading and get on the pitch to chase after him.

When he returned the following season he was a bit of a disappointment, and I seem to remember Conrad Logan being the saviour that season? (well, nearly the saviour).

Never forget his game against the Saints away, kept us in that game!
But ye, when he came back he wasn't as good as the first time.
Would still imagine he would be very good in league 2 mind you.

Don't understand the love in for Mildew.
He wasn't good enough to hold his place in a conference team so why will he be one of the best in league 2?
Besides, he only stayed last time if we kept a goalkeeping coach. We can't afford one so get rid of both and get another keeper in who doesn't make stupid demands.

I don't understand how after 2 mistakes in a whole season, Mildy is suddenly not good enough. If it wasn't for him we would have been relegated from League 2 way before the Mansfield game. I still think he should be our No1 next season, he is the kind of keeper who can win a game or save a point on his own, cos let's face it we're gonna have a lot more shots against us next season and you won't find many better shotstoppers than Mildy.

Disappointed if Mildenhall is staying. All these ex keepers would be better and are out of contract or out of favour: Logan, Andersen, Etheridge, Ryan Clarke.

I believe Phil Kite is currently out of work.
He'd be a top keeper at this level.
Mildy is finished. Over the hill. He's on 20 grand an hour and has a massive entourage of hangers on. He demands a foot rub after every training sessions and £6.50 for his taxis home.
Wood Ewe? Baa.

Ryan Clarke has signed a new 3 year contract, someone posted a link to the story not long ago. Agree with what you're saying tho, there's better available for sure

I'd love to keep Mildy, but his wages are too big for a back up keeper. He's also stated before he wants to be a journalist when his careers over so I doubt he'd want to stay as a coach.
Think Puddy will be No2 to a new keeper next season.
