This is such a pathetically crap level of football we must keep our expectations high despite the torrent of time to gel / bad pitches / dusting ourselves off/ its a tough league bullshit we will be fed if things start bad

I remember 2 seasons ago the planned invasion was aldershot away but the game then got cancelled after many were definitely going. The rescheduled game never had the desired inpact as many didn't then go. A possible 2nd chance this season as quite local

Relatively. I think we'll get more away. New grounds. New towns. Teams will expect us to travel large and we will. Only when we get there to be told were not as loud, fun, good as lutons travelling fans.

Supporters Club should already be contacting teams regarding our away following...see which ones want a massive Gas turnout and are able to entice us there...

I'm not so sure. Bit of a double edged sword that. Clubs will be tempted to advertise limited space iot keep police bills down. They will be uber vigilant on home turnstiles when there's no need to be etc. Our club should contact Luton since the process has been done by them already. Or better still get a Luton fans rep on here with the lowdown.

It's a good idea when it's managed well...for example, pick a few away games where we might take a big following and work with that club to make sure it can be done sensibly (and even encouraged by them with ticket prices/deals/etc etc)...

Yeah maybe. I wont hold my breath though for any sort of constructive liaison between our club and anyone else.

Every away game will be a gas invasion small grounds I can see us taking so many fans on certain games, that will result in a lockout for some.

Gotta be forest green on the august bank holiday surely ? Too obvious. Will be plenty of Gas anyway and there's not a lot of pubs etc around the ground. Kidderminster is my shout. Great little ground. Bigger way capacity than FGR. Pubs nearby and it's bank holiday too.

I've actually some experience on this . Rangers have (as you probably know) had to start at the bottom, and believe me, the bottom in Scotland is the bottom! Besides the level they were playing at, The fan's loved every minute of it meeting new fan's, going in tiny new grounds and trying all the different pies etc. And i must say the level of behaviour of all the Bears was brilliant, it makes you more humble i think and all the away teams/towns made RFC more than welcome. Here's Super Ally at the first away game in 4th Tier August 2012

A possible 2nd chance this season as quite local good shout. not many local games that have a decent away capacity, and we've lost the Bulls and salisbury. Shots is not THAT close though. I prefer the idea of going in the away end rather than the home team being a smaller ground where we ask ./ they give us bits that normally away teams wouldn't be offered.

Don't forget we have fans in those areas we can use for local knowledge, Parking, pubs etc.
