Got to let this drop now. Stop watering money up the wall. But it's mainly his money? Its mainly the clubs money by proxy. We already heard how it was effecting the playing budget. I don't want to be in another relegation dogfight at any cost.

Sainsburys may wish to avoid the cost of it going to appeal and consequently renegotiate- who knows ?

Apparently the costs of going to appeal will be considerably less than the costs of the Court case, so I doubt that Sainsburys will look at altering their stance. A mere drop in the ocean for them.

I suggest you listen to the interview again regarding the playing budget? You don't honestly believe that our current budget isn't cautious and it wouldn't have been loosened had we won? Don't just believe me, this is what DC said this week; "It has been well documented that money is pretty tight at the minute so a positive outcome could be a 'game changer'. We have a competitive squad at the minute but I would also like to make more additions.
"The court case obviously has a massive impact on the playing side of things. You don't have to be a rocket scientist to come to the conclusion that the more money that is spent on the court case means there is less available for players."
As for it being his money. You think he is going to cover the Wonga loan, and the rest? It will go under the debt of the club and WE will end up paying for it.

Perhaps DC was hoping for some more?!
Anyway, NH only said that they have been told that there are strong grounds for appeal. He also said that they would go to London and look at the situation and that actually, dropping it and moving on to other options could well be the best option. But lets bash him for trying anyway...

I can't believe we haven't even been given compensation of any sort - no deal. They can just walk away on a flimsy pretext. Money goes to money, I guess.

It worked lasy year, why not this year ?

The bloke is useless but he doesn't deserve to lose his health over this.
Time for his family to pull him out looking at that clip.

UWE is dead.
We're looking at another 5+ years at the mem! But that's not to say we can't improve on the pitch!

I can just see the law office when Nick phones them up.
'Hey, everyone, it's Higgsy on the phone.' 'Yay, appeal time. Time to book more holidays!' 'He's close to quitting.' 'No, no. He can't do that. He must appeal. I've just got a new mortgage, and my kids are nearly school-age.' 'What shall I tell him?' 'Erm, tell him that Sainsbury's don't have a leg to stand on.' 'They've just won in the high court, he's not that daft.' 'Ok, tell him it's watertight.' 'Didn't we use that one last year? And the judge just said it was a colander.' 'Alright, say something like blah blah blah technicality.' 'What, I can't say blah blah blah.' 'Yeah you can.' 'Listen Nick, Blah blah blah technicality... No, he's not convinced.' 'Ok, try it hinges on a technicality.' 'All legal cases hinge on a technicality.' 'Ok, try technical element of a clause that has been inconsistently recorded.' 'But that's just gibberish.' 'Shh, try it.' 'Ok Nick, listen, you've got very strong legal grounds because of a technical element of a clause that has been inconsistently recorded... Yeah, nice one. He's fallen for it again.' 'Bermuda, here I come!' *high five*

To be fair GT asked all the searching questions every fan wanted asking and I think NH answered the well in a way we all hoped - best interests of the fans the player budget the club and Bristol in general. Do feel gutted for him Because no matter what certain people think of hI'm on here he has shown he cares 100% for the club

He has said everything you would expect him to say. What other option does he have but to appeal? I want to be proved wrong, but it seems that there are no other irons in the fire. Will we win the appeal, absolutely not.
