Wrong. When a business is bought the current owners can't expect repayment for their c0ck ups. The value of the Mem will only be realised if it were asset stripped so it is worth far less than £15m to a buyer who has the future of the club at heart. Edit. Mods please allow C0ck ups to be typed as its required quite often with this club. i can see what you're getting at. I always think of it as a farmer who has little money so sells his land. Is a farmer without a farm still a farmer? No he's a wealth retired farmer? Back to the topic who apart from the OP is actually interested in taking over the club? Personally I'd sooner NH find somebody with the wealth of Vince Dale to get involved.

Topper, there are several people - really. This isn't about personalities and egos, it's about how our club is run and whether we are confident that the custodians of it can be relied upon to bring stability and progress now and in the future

Mark, why don't you run for SC director? I 'm not interested firstly and if I did become one - then what ? How could I or anyone else have an impact the way things are ?

Thanks. Jon The Stripe would also be an excellent candidate - but again - Would he want to do it ? There, in my opinion, has to be a drastic shake up, I've heard of so many stories over the last 12 months of disenfranchised Gasheads that it really saddens me. We are a great club, with really passionate and INCREDIBLY LOYAL supporters - the average away attendance last season for example WAS OUT OF THIS WORLD !! But this doesn't reflect in our standing any more - Do we really have sound leadership, are there good structures in place - this was where an INTERNAL REVIEW or even an EXTERNAL REVIEW should have been done and released to supporters. As it is, I'm sure many of us are still UNCERTAIN or even very SKEPTICAL about all things BRISTOL ROVERS I hope SOMETHING will change but I for one want to use a different word than hope and that's TRY TO CHANGE FOR THE BETTER. Cheers, Mark
