I've said this before, but there should be a Retro Line of shirts available in the Club Shop. You don't have to worry about sponsors names, nor will they go 'out of fashion'. They will sell. It's a no-brainer isn't it ! 3 months and counting since Rovers last had a blue and white quartered shirt on sale. Only Rovers!

I wonder if they will do Avec replica shirts in 20 years time? This will never be worth £200!

This is the dream ticket for me... first shirt and I want it back! Size small or medium, I have a pink special edition to offer if someone can source this bad boy.

While we're at it I'm after one of these in fat bastard size. Quite happily pay cash for it or reluctantly swap it for another shirt out of the collection, Various Spall tops and many other rare and interesting ones in between mostly in XL that are now too small.

My favourite kit of all time from the 73/74 season, oh and those two weren't bad either!

I think the shirts (any shirt) looks far better without any sponsors logo on the front.

It's a no-brainer isn't it ! Wear my Bukta shirt all the time...wore it to Wembley....and if you Google Toffs you can find all sort of discount vouchers to get maybe 10-15% off RRP too. Managed to get a good deal on the 1940s/50s shirt too. Club missing a trick with Retro items.

They used to do retro shirts in the club shop because that's where I bought mine.
In fairness, how many club shops have you guys been in lately?
On Monday me and HTY did a whistle stop tour of London Premier League grounds and really they offer very little different to our own shop. Certainly our staff are far more cheerful.
In terms of range West Ham offered a massive selection of stuff and around 10 retro shirts all of which I recognized. None if the other shops carried more than one or two retro style lines. Most had decent polo shirts and some nice Ts. Other than pens and pencils, wrist bands and jotter pads none had anything for less than a fiver.
One thing they all had though was this year's shirt.....

I have been given 6 or 7 different shirts to sale for the Sharescheme (including Green/Black away bukta quarters). I also have a signed 60's / 70's legends TV shirt (Joe Davis, Harold Jarman, Josser Watling etc) from the Supporters Club Flashback for the Fans evening 4 or 5 years ago, a Smash and Grab signed yellow Sharescheme Tee Shirt and a couple of Andy Rammell signed yellow Sharescheme Tees, and the the fist year back in league 1 Trollope squad orange scharescheme (5-4-3-2-1) tee shirt and a few 90's leisure wear.
I am in the process of trying to get Keith to put in the programme as a regular feature where fans who do not have PC access can have a look in Pirate Lesiure and also bid to win. This was something he did when the sharescheme first started and was quite popular and raised quite a bit.
I'll try and provide more info later this month/early August.

What possible reason is there to do that? That's not how football clubs work I'm afraid, my selfish, demanding, chum. Quite the opposite. The club will sell shirts when they're good and ready and if you're lucky enough to get one well ... you should be jumping for joy. Expecting a business to sell there own product for more than 8 months of the year? Come off it!
