Not a joke, just a reality of today's game. The worse part of the situation was that the fixture was a testamonial so a Truro stalwart nearly lost out on his pay day.

Yes, the reality of today's game is a joke. Twist it a bit more if you like, I'm not busy tonight roscoe! no you never are ! Post rate increasing eh? I'm just saying it's an indictment on today's game. The top clubs get richer whilst Torquay et al get poorer. Whilst we tread water Barrow for example are looking to overtake. Dare I mention Fleetwood and Crawley? Not looking to seek anyone out 79, we all have views, sometimes I think we need to realise the level we are at, even after promotion. Xxxxxx Lol! Yeah its a mess.

And I'm not even Scottish! Look we either accept it (ala since 1996 when we were glad to be back in Bristol) Or we fight, but with limited tools we have a limited army. Am I waffling? Hell yeh.... But supporting Rovers is akin to riding a carousel.... Up.......down..... Up........ Down......up......down..... Round and round..... Up ...... Down ......up ....down..... Round and round ..., oooooooh there's a tasty bit of stuff ( the uwe or such like tempting) then it's back to.... Up.... Down......up .... Down... Round and round....

Tin pot existence, making the players make their own way to Cheltenham for a friendly ffs, what's all that about? i've been told by a close source that the club had entered into a "watertight" contract with a national coach company to take the players to cheltenham. unfortunately the coach was delayed by some considerable time by traffic and the company canceled the contract claiming a cut off clause had been breached so all the players had to drive themselves to the game......... or so ive heard anyway

I cannot believe anybody would defend the Rovers players not travelling together in a BRFC livery coach. At best it is totally embarassing FFS

With hindsight, I wonder if DC apportions any of our deficiencies yesterday to the transport?

I guess typically forum users are making more of this issue than is really the case, as when Rovers played Gloucester at Cheltenham under Buckle they all appeared to have travelled in their own cars as Gill, Virgo & Lines all left in their own cars after the match.
I guess players travelling in their own cars can claim travel expenses, whilst it may disappoint some forum users perhaps the players would sooner pick up £20+ than sit on a coach, I know which I'd choose!

Or, they all just got together and thought it was easier to make their own way there?

With hindsight, I wonder if DC apportions any of our deficiencies yesterday to the transport? Shame really as they'd have been better not arriving given the result against the mighty Cheltenham. Just pleased that F7ck em up Buckle wasn't still Cheltenham manager after they turn over the (once) mighty Gas. Early days and a friendly so keep the faith. UTG

They all travelled in they're own cars to Sailsbury as well, why was that not raised as an issue?
