I thought the 'stinking badges' quote was from Bad Boys. I don't know about that film. It may have been used again there. It did originally come from Treasure of the Sierra Madre, though not quite those exact words. A bit like "Play it again, Sam" in Casablanca, which wasn't quite said like that either.
