Played 24 times for Northampton last season before breaking a metatarsal(!) so at least he's a recent regular in Div 2 last season, assuming he's now fully recovered then personally I'd sooner have signed him over M & MM as neither of them have played regularly at this level.
Posters saying he's not good enough I assume must have a list of better wingers DC can sign instead, if so, can you share it with the rest of us?

Based on what I've seen in pre season and yesterday, I'd say he's possibly better than what we have.
Reasonably quick, decent goal return for a winger and not bad in the air.
Not the most gifted footballer in the world but if his wages are fairly low, I'd give him 3 month's.
At the end of that 3 month's Clarke can decide whether to keep Bodin or Mohamed.

We must be desperate if we sign another player without a club (Balanta) Mr. Mohamed was useless when he was with us before, good for two games a season then not much else.

We only play one winger out the four we got now whats the point in brining in another.

So unless you have a detailed scouting report sat on DC's desk your not allowed a opinion on a player.

Strange one this I think. When we went down DC said he wasn't keeping Kaid as he thought there was better out there, and that was for conference football, now we're back in league 2, he's possibly the answer? Doesn't quite add up to me and I cant help but think it still has something to do with budget restrictions (KM would be on the cheap due to injuries).
FWIW, I thought he was decent for us and would be a decent option, at the risk of harping on about them both though, I feel that LDV or Dawson were both better options than both KM and the 2/3 wingers we've brought in.
Fingers crossed i'm wrong (usually am!)

I sense this is an attitude / squad fit thing so DC is balancing ability and team fit to ensure he has players he can work with. I liked KM and seemed like a good bloke rather than a billy big bollocks, which may have gone against others we have passed on

Think he is decent however centre mid is where needs strengthening the most, without Manse we struggled. Get the Beard back there tomorrow and play Leads and Browner as wing backs, with Parkes, Lockyer, and James Clarke as the three.

If we are going to play 3-5-2 then we may as well not have signed any wingers let alone have four of them!!! Put out the best side rather than play favourites and give them time to gel. Both Montano and Monakana I am sure are better than their performances Saturday. I would imagine Monakana will not be allowed to play tomorrow which is another thing against loan players as you have to disrupt the side. Lockyer is a defender not a midfielder. The problem is that if you hoof a ball all the time then your wingers are not going to have good games and it doesn't take a genius to work out who will win the ball when two small players face an up and under against possibly two of the tallest and best defenders in the division.

I agree Steve, fundamentally we can play a variety of formations, 4-4-2, 3-5-1 etc but players need to be played to their strengths i.e if you start Lockyear, who I rate, he has to play in defence, if you start Sinclair play to his strengths by playing him centrally and if your playing with a strike force of Taylor, Easter, Harrison, Bodin etc keep possession, play to feet and in the channels, simples ........
