Nothing I have seen from Bodin so far would convince me that he will ever be any good in the quarters and if I remember correctly he is on a three month contract. I for one cannot see him pulling up any trees in league two. Christ, that's a bit harsh isn't it. He has not had the chance yet, apart from 10/15 mins chasing the game against the Cobblers. It's honest. I feel the same to be honest. Yes, he hasn't had much of a chance yet but he hasn't shown me anything in the friendlies I watched or against Northampton. His cv isn't that great and DC only offered him 3 months so I can see why Dave thinks the way he does.

Both are harsh, especially someone who has only played a quarter of an hour ffs.

In fact we were scoring for fun against lowly non league opposition and then could not score aginst Arsenals kids, Reading etc and have hardly set the league alight with our scoring prowess.

Is anybody suprised by this move? He is behind 3 strikers and Lucas can be recalled. Hopefully he can secure a permanent move because I'm not sure he suits us. We don't have time or squad size for players to develop from 4th choice.

We're playing better teams than Kiddy this season.

Might not please our Grimsby supporting friends, I'm sure Paul Hurst said Bliss 'wasn't available' at this time! He is not bothered apparently. www.grimsbytelegraph.co.uk/Paul-Hurst-unfazed-Nathan-Blissett-s-Grimsby-Town/story-27652310-detail/story.html?IT doesn’t appear that Paul Hurst will be losing any sleep over Nathan Blissett’s move to Tranmere. Earlier today it was announced that the Bristol Rovers striker has joined Tranmere Rovers on a month-long loan deal. It comes after the Grimsby Town boss made an enquiry for the 25-year-old, but was given the impression that he’d prefer to fight for his place at his parent club. But speaking to the Telegraph after the move to Prenton Park was confirmed, Hurst didn’t appear overly concerned. “I found out that he was moving to Tranmere yesterday to be honest,” he said. “Ultimately, if a player doesn’t want to be with us then I don’t want them to be a part of this football club. “If they haven’t got the heart to play for a club, then you’re off on the wrong footing straight away. “We play Tranmere while he’ll be with them so hopefully we can keep him quiet that day. “But in the meantime, we move on quickly from that and we’ll keep looking.”

Hardly surprising the Grimsby Manager is not losing any sleep over this. After all their approach to Rovers was a few weeks ago now and as Nathan has been left out of the last few match day squads does not seem surprising to me that he has agreed to go out on loan. As for leaving us permanately, that's another matter.

The thing is with bliss he offered height up front which could've been our plan b, we have a really small team, certainly no height in our strikers. If you looked at Northampton, they are a big strong physical side which played a part in their win over us. Good luck to him but I hope he gets game time and comes back and plays for us.

Good luck to him, hope we see him back improved. I suspect the Barnet game gonna get us asking where our goals are gonna come from just as we did this time last year

Best of luck to Bliss, DC obviously does not fancy playing him in Div 2, hopefully Tranmere offer him a longer term deal.
