Shop there all the time. I don't blame Sainsbury for our ineptitude. ha! You beat me too it. My family doesn't shop in one particular store but I certainly have not boycotted Sainsburies. A pointless crusade and if I am honest I found the whole thing of leaving shopping trollies full and in the aisles all a bit embarrassing.

sh1t completely forgot about the whole sainsburys saga. Unfortunately I popped in on the way home for some ham, bread, cheese, milky bar youghurts, milk, poly pockets, and a cheese pasta sauce. It seemed cheaper than tesco's too. So it looks like for that reason I'm out.

It's tough as their cheese twists and cookies are so much nicer than any other supermarket. I've resisted so far bar one beer run. I'm pretty sure most supermarkets sell alcohol as a loss leader. If you only bought a crate of beer you may have actually cost them money!

I was NOT surprised we lost the Court case and after attending the first five days of evidence can see why Sainsbury won. I was told by our legal team at the end of the fifth day, before the summing up, that they expected us to lose the case, so no surprise when it happened. NH can say all day long that we won every point bar one, but that point was the WHOLE reason that Sainsbury's brought the case.
NH appears confident that he is being advised we still have a good case, but if that were the case, why did our solicitors not agree to a "no win no fee" for this appeal.
You have to remember that if we lose the appeal, our debts will be almost unsustainable as it appears we may to struggling to pay the MSP loan and TW confirmed in Court that it was unsustainable in the long term.
I'm afraid that whilst NH is still in charge, it would appear that we will continue to haemorrhage money and I cannot see with him in charge that it is likely to improve in the short or long term.

I finally gave in yesterday, its just too close to my work!! I had tried so hard to avoid and I know so many that are keeping it up, but in the grand scheme of things. Will it make any difference anyway? It's like voting, in the grand scheme of things it won't make a difference. We used to do our 'big shop' at Sainsbury by the City ground, but since the court case we go to Asda up Cribbs now. It won't make a tiny diffference to Sainsbury, but it makes me feel better.
