Bet Halloween came a day early for you with Taylor's performance. He scored a simple goal and missed a simple chance. 50% is much better than his normal pi ss poor return Fair play that's your opinion and I respect that, but to me and many others we have a 25 year old striker playing with many years left ahead of him in his first season in the football league that has scored 5 in the last 7 with bench appearances along with young Ellis a u21 international that has 5 goals with Easter and his experience on 5 and it's happy days. UTG oh and they cost us f-all. Great business DC UTG,

It just goes to show that those who believe 'the consortium' will be our saviours that just because someone with money wants to chuck £50 or £60 million at us is not the answer. (but it might help). You also need to rememebr that many posters on this forum and the other constantly take the p**s out of the fact that SL is involved and he spunks money left right and centre but we need to be careful what we wish for......we might be just the same! Yeah I'd much rather get to league 1 the way we're doing it than the way they're doing it. If I could have one football wish it would be to beat them home and away in league 1 next season.

What goes to show? Why do we need to be careful what we wish for? I'd rather take a chance than carry on on the fashion that we are. We are a dilapidated piece of sh** at the moment.

Why do we need to be careful what we wish for? It's an expression that means changes aren't always for the best even if they would seem to be desirable. It's not a literal instruction.

I am not aware of anyone stating that the consortium would be our "saviours". However, I do think that any monetary input would indeed help. The way I understand it, we would be debt free, and have a new ground. That much is an improvement on what we have now but I think most of us are fully aware that that money does not necessarily buy success. Those who float being an example it is impossible for Rovers fans to overlook.

T boner. Will you ever change your tune with Matty? Did you cheer when he got the winner or would have you preferred a 1 all? What does he have to do to get you on side? He's got a bigger nob than me too, but who has'nt?

Not sure having a £8 debt whilst playing Div 2 football in at a dilapidated Mem is that great an advert for our owner?

My question wasn't a literal question either. It is in context with the warning. I guess my point is that I don't think we need to be careful for wanting a consortium.(which might not even come to fruition anyway)! Surely things can't get any worse than div4 football, non league football, massive debts, and all the rest of the tripe that we are familiar with?

A good point but how many of the chairmen of those clubs took over while they were an established L1 club?

I've heard richard o'brian is buying that club and co managing with their manager, he's going to write a musical about it , the rocky-shithead horror show, as they have all the character traits for the new show, you know incestuous transexuals fron trashton

Ah yeah. Maybe we should just carry on as we are then?
