The article aside, I hope he doesn't as it would make it harder to take pleasure in their return to their rightful position.

"Constantly"? "Blizzard"? Descriptive words used in context. Got a problem with that? If you don't like my writing style don't read my posts. No one minds criticism of the post but don't criticise the poster..

Topper, I don't know if you are aware of this but my blog only appears on line, not in the paper, and I was only giving an opinion on what I had read on the Post website. It is hardly a surprise if a well-known bookie that actually sponsors the football league installs one of our people at 5/4 favourite and the local newspaper decides to do a story on it. I'm not sure where Old Gas is coming from. Does he want the usual to happen: Rovers keep us in the dark and feed us with bullshit only for us to find out Marcus has left via the Yeovil website? Sorry, it's easy to shoot the messenger but to my mind the Post was only doing their job. If a paper in, say Birmingham, suggested a Bristol City player was being tracked by Villa would the Post report it? Of course they would! Maybe we should just wait for the official website to tell us what is going on in future. They've always done such a good job in the past. Blimey doers anybody actually read it then as i avoid thier webiste make the plague as the pop up adverts make it virtually unreadable. As far as keeping fans in the dark does any football club give a blow by blow account on situationslike this, I veru much doubt it.

Yeah, that and the way the print size keeps changing, then every few seconds the article disappears and the message "There was a problem so the article is being reloaded" appears. In the end I give up and rarely complete reading the article. Is this a general problem or is this specific to my iPad?

I think he'd be bonkers to go, but he wants a spell in management. This would be a low pressure job - no money and no hope down there at the minute. If he even manages to give them a fighting chance down at the bottom then I would classify that as a success. He's an assistant manager for us and I'm sure DC will already be looking at his replacement should he go.

But I disagree it would be a low-pressure job...they look like they'll be in or around the relegation places for the third season in succession so if he can't fix it quickly the fans will (probably) associate him with most of the previous failures over the last three years. If I could say one thing to him it would be this. If you want to make Yeovil your first management job, be very, very sure they have the funds in place or the players in place to get you out of trouble by February...
