Thing is our home support doesn't increase massively when we're doing well like it does at other clubs. Looking at the last few years I'm sure someone pointed out that our relegation to conference season saw bigger crowds than all the 4 or 5 seasons before that. We're a bit unique like that I'm afraid. People talking of a packed Mem in January are being a bit ambitious I think. I thing we'll get 7,500- 8000 crowds between now and the end of the season if we stay top 7 and then the usual full house last game or two / play offs if we get there. We rarely got 8000+ crowds when we were pushing on to get into the championship. Hopefully they'll be lots of offers to get the kids in for cheaper because that helps with the crowds for sure.

Question though how many will we now take to Wimbledon ? I've heard we've already sold 17,000 tickets, we are now buying them up in the home end with 8,600 sold. There are 12,780 outside their ground already hoping to get in. Heard last night a group have hired a helicopter so they can literally get a birds eye view of the game. I heard they have already started queuing outside Centre Court

Next three home games should see gates of 9500-10000, orient and luton are holiday games and the Plymouth game could be massive by the end of Jan if our form continues. Also should be decent away support at all three.

We'll get around 8000, a win against Wimbledon isn't going to suddenly get 4000 part timers to show up..

As all on gas chat are the true Gas Heads, ( in our eyes anyway ) we should perhaps be the ones to push the Gas to get a few more fans through the Turnstiles. We could start by encouraging Gashead mates who don't go to every match to make the effort to do so in the interest of a viable future for our great, iconic club. It has become increasingly evident that the Club sadly does not know how to market itself in any financially productive or beneficial way -it can't even put a case over to a major Company to get a Shirt Sponsor! Moreover every year the participants in the raffles appear to dwindle. Helpful as it may be, no club should rely on raffles to keep it afloat. It says a great deal when Some Members on this forum are far in advance of the club personnel in advocating strategies that would secure the club's future wellbeing.

Think we'll get over 10k for this. its a bank holiday but most people will of earned enough credits (hopefully?!) over chrimbo with the family to sneak out. We've just got in the play-off places , Orient will bring down 500 plus. we're on another good run. If Orient brought a few more we'd of done it. fair play to the Gasheads that did

Need to keep packing them in, should get over 9k for Luton and Plymouth then 8k plus for the rest of the season. 2016 is a massive year, on and off the field. Who knows, it may all finally click together. Potentially exciting times.

Only Pompey, Southend and Sheffield Utd had higher crowds In Leagues 1 and 2.
The potential is there for all to see.

Great crowd today but that's almost the limit, only room for about another 500 gas, and severely highlights our limitations at the mem. If we were at uwe today i believe we would have had 13-14k, with possibly similar crowds against Luton and Plymouth. Just goes to show how crucial it is for this to happen next year.
