Isn't this the second time they've done this? Thought they didn't see us as rivals anymore? Yes and they will never not see us as rivals.

As a serving soldier who's lost mates in Afghan and Iraq, this sort of thing really pees me off. I wouldn't blame the fans of bcfc though. This is just down to the uneducated youth of today who are taught so little about our nations history at school, that the majority of them couldn't even tell you who winston Churchill is. Clearly their fans are just as mythed at this as we are. No point using it as a point scoring exercise. It just needs to get sorted.

Deepest apologies about this. Absolute Scum whoever did this. It looks like city fans are trying to organise something to clean it up themselves, or collecting money to pay for a professional to do it.
Merry Christmas, and I hope this can be cleaned up before tomorrow!

Wasn't the money sorted out with a crowdfunder last time this happened?
Not particularly sure I'm comfortable with the idea of the fans of BCFC paying out again, especially at this time of year.

To be fair the sensible city fans are trying to arrange to clean it off and are as disgusted as we are. I known they have serving and former military personnel in their ranks who have probably lost good mates as well.

Unfortunately, these people do it in the name of Bristol City. We have to accept that and put it right.

Also not too keen on City fans paying, especially at this time of the year. We know it would have just been the work of a few and it's unfair for the rest of the fan base to take the flack.(Sometimes I wish they thought like this with us!!)
I suppose the disappointing thing is that this isn't the first time it's happened and you have to wonder if it's the same people/person doing it each time?
Not sure if the club have plans to clear it yet, but if the donation link does get set up I hope it gets posted on here too.

We have to accept that and put it right. I think it would be far more effective if Bristol City/Bristol Sport paid for it. It would send a message that 'each time you do this, you take money away from your club' and deter them. Like Antonio I appreciate the generosity of the good fans, but I don't think its fair on them.

There's more on the other gates as well.

What would also be effective is if the rugby fans actually found a voice and said that they are very uncomfortable being associated with a club who has fans that behave in such a way.

Fair play - agree with Gashead it would be appropriate for Bristol Sport to pay, would show they still care about the history of their Rugby team and show the morons that did it that Bristol Sport 100% don't condone it.
