They've got a thread on their forum called gas taking 15000 to Oxford, some of them are are dumb enough to think everything said on here is true. Whats amazing is the fact that they don't stick to the huge thread they have about us. Theres times when they have 4 or 5 threads about us on the first page. But, they're not obsessed and don't class us as rivals so it's okay.

Can you assist club following Boxing Day fixture? City are appealing for help from supporters in response to an element of disorder in the dying stages of the Boxing Day game against Charlton Athletic. A seat was kicked off its frame by one person in Block E34 of the Dolman Stand, landing a few rows further down the stand. It was then subsequently thrown by another individual towards the pitch area. In an unrelated incident, another person also threw a stone towards the pitch surround in stoppage time. The club is interested in speaking to the individuals responsible and seeks support from fans that were in the area in providing information that will help identify them. It is possible the club will receive a substantial fine from The FA for these incidents. If you have any information please e-mail david.storr@bristol-sport.co.uk. I hope there was still a full complement of corner flags on the pitch by the end of the game.

Has this punched horse been confirmed? Did anyone get billed for that? Yes, a Rovers fan did appear in Court. It was months later, so probably slipped under the radar.

He was actually a 40-something Gashead who lost all control of his senses in the heat of the moment, apologised unreservedly in court and, if I recall properly got community service and a ban from home games. I must admit I don't use the "F" word normally but uttered it many times during and after the Mansfield game so I think a lot of us did/said things we would not normally dream of doing/saying! The point with the 'teds is that they have a lot more of the nasty types than we do - we have our fair number, but proportionate to our attendances I would guess the thug element as a percentage is lower at Rovers than at "they who must not be named". No proof of that, just a gut feeling.

All clubs have problems but until we have no issues during a season then we look stupid slating the inbreds. As you say there is no proof either way about who has the worse fans. Frankly I was ashamed of the 3 incidents last year that occurred in our name. Glass houses and all that.

If I may try to defend a person who has punched a horse...
How do we know that the creature didn't deserve it? Or that the person manoeuvring the creature did so in a way to give the defendant no option? Did anybody seriously walk into the ground intending to punch a horse?

Frankly I was ashamed of the 3 incidents last year that occurred in our name. Glass houses and all that. It's an undeniable fact that we have a small hooligan element and a fair few others who are capable of anti social behaviour under certain circumstances. The teds will tell you that they have more of these types simply because their support base is bigger. However, the point 57 made is valid. Anyone who has attended a game at AG will know that proportionately, they have far more idiots than we do. Apart from going there with rovers, I have been to a couple of games (wanting the opposition to win obviously) with my dad who is one of these who likes both Bristol teams to do well. It's an entirely different vibe and if I was a steward, I know which club I'd prefer to work for.

What is interesting is that they come on here to correct us about attendees at a football match but don't make any attempt to deny allegations of incest.

Agreement with those who identify the ratio differences. Their argument that more fans = more "types" is a veiled p155take. It is clear that they have a higher percentage of morons. I have no doubt that if our crowds doubled, we would still have fewer morons than them. Arsenal pack in 60k a week but it's commonly known that their element is tiny, whereas Cardiff have a third of arsenals matchday crowd yet plenty of loons. The ratio defence from the Ted's is a nonsense.
Worryingly, you will see kids in amongst their antics when they play up and it is accepted as normal. There is no hope.

I guess in certain cultures and social circles, incest is not only accepted as normal behaviour, it's actively encouraged. According to a recent UWE study, it is quite feasible that by 2050 everyone in Hartcliffe will have the same surname and quite possibly one of only two possible first names (i.e Wayne or Waynetta).
