Well worth attending if you can ! I went in April with John & Stuart and 50 odd other Gasheads Great fun and lots of drinking ! Also Santa Susanna is a nice resort with great beach, so you can leave the other half to top up the tan whilst at the game / pub

How good are sabadell? In terms of what would their likely level be in the English leagues?

Top teams in the Segunda División B I wouldn't put on a par with League One teams. They're ok but the standard is somewhere between League 2 and Conference South.

Still not sure why the club aren't arranging an organised trip for fans, rather than seemingly leaving it for SC club members to organise something themselves?

Topper don't the Supporters club organise all away travel anyway? John and Stuart have organised a few small tours to Sabadell very successfully already including last years when about 50 of us went on a very well planned and executed tour including flights, airport transfers, accommodation, coach travel to the game including pre match food and drinks inside the Sabadell ground and plenty of imbibing, so to me it makes perfect sense for them to organise this tour or assist anyone who wishes to travel independently if they need advice

Thought this was an unofficial SC organised tour arranged by John Keyes rather than an official SC one back by them?

I take your point but my concern is if everything is done unofficially then Rovers could well cancel the trip and then we'd all be stuck once we paid our flights etc.

I'm glad they decided to move it, doing it during a home weekend would have been silly.

You make it sound like they'd book coaches for us to go and see where we want our season tickets seats in a temporary stadium. Whatever next......

Myself and the other half are planning on making this trip as part of our summer hols..... as DC would say "Happy Days" So am I along with Junior Topper, are you going via the "unofficial" route or going to go it alone, flights to Barcelona seem reasonably priced at present and there's plenty of hotels to choose from, just a pain having to make your own way to the ground if you do it yourself. Perhaps the SC could organise a bus from Barcelona town centre.

Thought this was an unofficial SC organised tour arranged by John Keyes rather than an official SC one back by them? As I understand it the club has asked John and Stuart to arrange the tour because they have organised previous tours and already have contacts in place over in Spain. I don't Know if you know John but he does an enormous amount of work organising all sort of successful Rovers events "unofficially" and I have no doubt that this will be another one
