He went down in the first half and their number 6 was the closest player I think.
Anyone see what happened?

Definitely an elbow.
Seen it clear as day.
Dirty f**king cheating low life player.
He was f**king sneaky about to, slipped round Gaffney tight into him and as he came in front of Gaffney he just elbowed him in the midriff.
One of the most disgusting off the ball incidents I've ever seen.

That worked though as for the rest of the first half Gaffney didn't do alot, glad he got himself together in the second and so didn't let the b@@@@@d win. Although the ref was worse than useless, think I could have gone a better job.

One of the most disgusting off the ball incidents I've ever seen. That bestard was at it all game! Even mouthed off at Gaffers when he was doubled up with what looked like a bleeding lip or nose. Ref, as he did all afternoon, had a quiet word.

Saw it clear as day from the Blackthorn! Can't believe the Lino didn't do anything as it was near enough right infront of him!

Yet Parksy put a tackle in within 6 minutes and got booked. Brunt handled it every time it came chest height, nothing. Gaffers was elbowed, dragged back, arm to the face, twice, nothing.
Glad to get out of that with a point.

Glad to get out of that with a point. Also, they did two breakaway stopping cynical fouls (arguably similar like Parkes') but coz they got them in early, in our half, the ref didn't card those, either.

number 6 (Hartley) Dirty Bast**d!!! he needs a big centre forward to but a grinding tackle in on him!!! He was fouling all game hands all over Gaffney ankle tapping not an ounce of football ability, but he also made sure he got cosy with the ref like he was his best mate.

a clear off the ball elbow and red card but the officials were following the ball so didnt see it,,,,impressive how gaffney kept his cool and eventually got right on top of his marker and caused lots of problems to plymouth in the 2nd half.

I don't have an issue with a "professional" away performance or players being over physical.
Roughing up a CF and getting away with it is part of the game but what that No6 did was a cowardly assault. If there are any TV pictures he should be done.

To be honest any of the Plymouth players could have punched the ref in the face and he'd have waved play on.
Should have been on at least four bookings by half time.

Problem is there's generally only one camera and it would have been following the ball. Didn't see it myself but how the linesman missed it is beyond me.

Properly premeditated and cynical.
