how many more MF's can a team have? And when we play 3-5-2 most of them don't play anyway. Several players can't even get a slot on a 7 man bench. I suspect our ins & outs are over for the time being. I missed a vital word out, that being central midfield of which we have 4 Mansell,Clarke,Sinclair and Lines.Only 1 of those is a creative player and as he seems to be more on the periphery these days we need someone to fill the gap I'd agree that we need another creative CM. Even IF Lines is good enough to fill that role, having a secondary player who can step in is vital. IMO I doubt we'll see anyone come in today though.

Think the only movement will be the extending of Ellis,s loan Does that need to take place today or when the loan windows re-opens? Oxford United have completed a deal to bring striker Chris Maguire back to the club until the end of the season.
The 27-year-old has returned to the Kassam Stadium following his release by Championship club Rotherham. Scotland international Maguire scored one goal in nine games during a six-week loan spell earlier this season. "It's an excellent signing for us. Chris has played all of his football at a higher level," Oxford United manager Michael Appleton said As already suggested on this thread: League Two side Leyton Orient have signed defender Nicky Hunt from Mansfield for an undisclosed fee.
The 32-year-old has signed a deal until the end of the season with the O's, with the option of a further year

He will score on the last day of the season that will send city down and keep Franchise up. Bound to happen. Did they sign Darren Bent? Last I heard Derby wanted 20k per week of the 30k he's on. City were bulking at 12k

Absolutely. The cost of one player could safeguard the future of two or more clubs, and not just football but that is probably for another thread.
