I remember when we took almost 30 coaches to Walsall as free travel because the football club paid for them. Me thinks the club should do something like this at least once a season.

but offering a promotion to your fans where by they spend money at another club sounds like business suicide to me.

Awfull game for us though,lost 5-1 if I recall,pretty quiet on our coach on the way home

Or it's just good PR covering up for the fact the team, Hartlepool, have under achieved for years? TBH if NH said do we want another promotion push or the money spent on coach travel, rather than Gaffney's contract, I know which most fans would choose.

Time was, when, after expenses, the gate money was split between the clubs. The better supported clubs put paid to that, of course.

Lucky they did introduce that rule because for most of the away games this season we would be getting 50% of f**K all.
