Wow - he must have added some pace since Yeovil. Great touch and composure but their centre backs easily out- paced him each time.

If he did sign it would give us some pace up front - when's the last time we had a really quick striker? White Brunt and Taylor are all good in the ball but won't beat defenders for pace which us a problem. might be totally wrong but taylor and white looked pretty quick to me?

We wouldn't go far wrong signing James Norwood from Forest Green, not sure whether he would be within our price range though. Not sure we need a winger if we will be playing 3 at the back (as we have in pre-season)? When I had the pleasure of speaking to DC at the SC EGM in June someone suggested Norwood to him. He instantly shook his head and said he is the wrong type of personality and he wouldn't have him anywhere near our squad. I'm inclined to agree given the arrogant way he led Gasheads to believing he may be signing on Twitter. He's a bit of a t*t I think. that's fine by me. Id rather have a team full of hardworking humbles than billy big bollocks. Hardworking humbles have more potential. Manage them right and give them the right opportunity and they will shine. billy big bollocks think they've already made it and noone can teach them anything. They are turds.

I don't really ever remember him being out paced at Yeovil either tbh. He's always been a very fast player, he's known for that. Did you not see the Coventry game? No one could keep up with him...

Only got to the Yeovil game and the view wasn't the best with sun in our eyes for 70 odd minutes - glad he has showed some pace vs Coventry. Looking forward to seeing him at Barnet UTG

fanboy I thought Jolley was the man we were signing on the wing? It aounds like it was Balanta. Unless it was before or after Jolley.

Balanta was/is a free agent, so was obviously a different player to the 'three month loan' winger. Given DC clarified that the striker was a 'target man type', I don't think Jolley fits that mould.
