Keep the land at the Memorial stadium and create an outstanding training ground facility with community access. The land would still be an outstanding land banking asset for the club, whilst retaining our past as we develop the club on and off the pitch at a new stadium (UWE).

Istm a proper training facility would require two full size pitches bare minimum, and there's just about enough room to fit those in, and nothing else at all.

Just the west stand would be enough to retain as viewing, changing and bar areas for a training ground.

I don't think there's room for two pitches, let alone three, since they sold the land for housing.

Not sure if it would the best location for a training facility, though I understand the financial rationale. I wonder what a couple of dozen aisles and a bank of checkouts on the site would look like...

The Mem sold has development land must be worth £10m/15m surely selling that and buying land elsewhere for a purpose built training ground (cribbs causeway?) makes more sense? Although whether our new owners will even contemplate stretching that far as yet to be seen.

We have the pp for that, it just won't get us £30m but gotta be its most valuable use still

Yeah, we effectively have panning permission for the biggest club shop in the world. and we could stock groceries as well - we have a licence to do that and Nobby could supply the Fez stock and i could supply all things computing
