Notts County seem to be in complete disarray. Be good if we can take advantage: Julian Winter has resigned as chief executive of Notts County, less than six months after he took the post, BBC Radio Nottingham reports. Winter, 50, succeeded Aileen Trew, the wife of former chairman Ray Trew, in October 2015. Trew left the club last month, and announced the Magpies, currently 17th in League Two, were up for sale. Ex-Sheffield United CEO Winter appointed Jamie Fullarton as manager in January after Ricardo Moniz was sacked. www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/35717133

The only way to prove the level of attendances is to swap places for a few years. So we need City to volunteer for 12 of the next 15 years below League 1, including a season in non-league. They have to play at an undeveloped stadium, and they have to lose their rich benefactor who bails them out when things get really rough. Then we'll see if they can match 6 - 8,000 crowds season after season. This is spot on & something I've said for a long time!

We took over 1,000 to Forest for our 1-2 away win. Not bad in my opinion for a team battling against relegation. We are taking nearly three times the average Cardiff following to away games and they are on the edge of the play offs. The 'Tan' bubble may have burst! Good of you to bring up our following in a thread about your 'invasion' of Notts Co - what about 'invading' your home games?! Nearly 1,000 less for the home game vs Hartlepool than you got against Morecambe?! Apologies if I got that incorrect. Less than 7,000 for home games yet you plan to 'invade' away games? Wahey! Of course your gates when you were in L2 were huge Well, we've never been in league two....but in div 4 they weren't too clever!

The only time you can compare the two clubs is when there is a level playing field, this hasn't been the case since the early 50's - mid 60's when both clubs averaged around the same in similar stadiums, then harry dolman's offer of investment in rovers was rejected and he went south of the river. This is the first chance we have ever had to redress the balance.

I'd take it. Spending 40 Mil to go backwards is crappier. I'd be pretty watered off if we are worse off once WAQ has spend his first 40 Million!!
