Are you sure about that ? Ask him why he was banned. He asked and never received an answer. So, you don't know why he was banned then ?

He asked and never received an answer. So, you don't know why he was banned then ? Perception that he wanted to bring down the board but Nick Higgs couldn't produce any evidence to back it up.

He was banned for being critical of the club just as Dunford was asked not to attend functions because he criticised the club. It really was a terrible era in the clubs history and this is yet another sign that the gloom is lifting off this club. Kevin never asked for it to be lifted although im sure it was raised as an issue by a few old mates. He is a nice bloke who did a lot for the fans in his short tenure. Are you sure about that ? Ask him why he was banned. Moved on or not, whether Kevin wishes to go again or not.does not mean that many of us that have advocated change at our club shouldnt stand up for wbat we beleive is fair

great news, it was a sad situation, a fan being banned without explanation. Even hooligans are given that.
Hopefully next GD is given the same status as the former board soon in recognition of his family's contribution to the club.

Hopefully Geoff will be allowed to go to the ball next year then?
I'll be glad when the line in the sand has faded, and we hear no more of the past wrongdoings - much of which I think the majority of fans knew nothing of anyway.

Not sure about him being nice but the rest is almost spot on. A top bloke very generous too. Only met him as when he was a director i could not make it to an away game due to car issues and despite having never met me and being a club director drove me to the game in Shrewsbury bought my drinks and never accepted a penny in petrol. Thats the kind of man he is

He had ideas to run the club sustainably, but he didn't have the cash to build a stadium so we can have more income streams. The income streams at the Mem are: Ticket: pasty: Beer: nasty chips: 50:50; Helpline: People hiring boxes or having a pre match meal.
or have I missed a winner here?

Surely the ban was lifted as soon as NH departed, nothing really to see here. wrong - the ban was issued by the club and stadium company not Higgs, and therefore had to be formally lifted Thanks for working to get the ban lifted mancgas. It was never simply about one person it was more a symptom of the intolerance which has done so much harm to Rovers over the past few years. I've never met Kevin but having spoken to him a few times on the telephone I know that he is Rovers through and through and like so many of us who began the journey at Eastville in the 1960's he shares a common vision of what our club should be standing for. We are different to the City and whenever we have been able to compete successfully with them it's been down to using our brains and taking our chances, being bold but maintaining our humility and always striving to make the best of our limited resources. I hope the lifting of this ban is a sign that the new owners have a desire to bring us all together and maintain the Rovers traditions as part of their formula for achieving success.
