Surely it was Dave Clarkson? Oh wait I don't think he scored 3 in a whole season...... Sean, that is harsh Bloke was a striker with an eye for the goal, either played on the wing or dropped as soon as he had a good game.

Lambo only got 2 against Hereford. Hoskins got a few braces, no hattricks At home against them yes, but I'm referring to the away game. Won 3-0, Lambert with a hat-trick. news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/eng_div_2/7923202.stmThat with the 4 against Southend means he was the last I imagine. So is MT the new Lambert rather than the new Vardy? You do have to question what the hell the club was doing allowing him to be out of contract at the end of the season, let's just hope WAQ's money can now convince him to stay or we could lose a potential £500K player on a free?

He was played out of position because he didn't do enough to warrant a start in his "preferred" position. He was one of the poorest players I've ever seen.

Tayor 3 goals off the 20 gaol mark and 2nd most amount of goals in the league..."he's a good player just not a goal scorer"......... not bad for first year in league football

He could have been an unbelievable asset if we'd managed him in any half-decent way. Remember he came on once at home with a couple of minutes to go, every touch was inspired and set up the equaliser. Knew the impact he'd had and he walked off the pitch straight away at the final whistle, I'm sure he couldn't comprehend how he wasn't being started up front in such a poor side. His technical ability and footballing brain was the best in the squad by an absolute mile.

That's a bit of an over statement given the strikers we've had at Rovers like Akinde & Jefferson-Louis, DC went on to score 7 goals in 7 games for Dundee so he was hardly Blissett's standard, perhaps with a decent manager like DC he may have looked a far better player thn he did for us.

For those of you who didn't have the pleasure of watching Geoff Bradford, in season 1953/4 he scored 5 hat-tricks and only played 21 games due to injury!! (Info supplied by Mike Jay on FB) that's one of the reasons why we want a statue of him at the new stadium.

I think we should have statues of Bradford, Lambert, Clarkson and Taylor in every corner of the new ground .

Yeah, but when in doubt, blame Ellis.
That's my motto.
