The Cambridge beamback was a great success. Its good that the club have arranged for another game to be featured. Admittedly, it would be better with commentary, but its got to be a lot better than being cold and wet (and losing!) like the Newport away game last year. Hopefuly their pitch is a bit better and the ref doesn't give a homer decision like the pen (Parkes never touched him!).
I don't know the Cambridge beamback attendance, but would guess around 500 and we were in mid table and it was a Friday night. Could be nearer a thousand on a Saturday with a pasty for dinner?
Well done the club

I always used to think they couldn't do it for Saturday 3pm games but then I remembered they did for for the Hartlepool game.

Well done the club they said at the time that it was circa 700, which is blooming impressive

Hopefully they provide a few more chairs, bigger TV's.... sadly true. i've been to a few and has been hard to get anywhere to sit, even on my own, and then you have to look at a tiny TV. i like the atmosphere and knowing that I'm helping the club but TBH it's a pretty bleak experience. I can't get there early and bag a seat and drink loads, so I might have to give any more a miss.

Listening to others I might give it a miss it's hard enough trying to get a pint and a seat on a match day before k.o , not slagging it off it's a great idea but it's not the biggest bar in the world

I would guess that this time tickets for both bars in the Dribuild stand will be available (rather than just the main hospitality are which was used for overflow last time). If people buy tickets in advance they might open the bars behind the seats in the West Stand as well.
Not sure of the total capacity of each and every room with a TV and a bar, but when you add them all up I guess they could accomodate over 1000, plus the fact that there are quite a few people going over the bridge anyway.
The best advice would be get there early to get the best view. Otherwise, if you turn up late it might be like watching from the away end at Layer Road!! but at least you will get a feel of the atmosphere and a good chance of a 50/50 winner!

How can you have been to a "few" haven't we only ever have shown the Hartlepool & Cambridge games in recent times? Given Wael's now running the show hopefully he can get in bigger screens? As far as commentary can't we do a deal with R Bristol and board cast their match commentary, if not, personally I'd sooner listen at home on the Gasplayer.

I think MM is talking about the televised games that have been shown in the Clubhouse, i watched Lincoln (playoffs), Wimbledon and last season Forest Green (playoff semi) in the Clubhouse. Essentially the place gets packed and the club make a few quid out of it. We watched the Cambridge game in one of the boxes, decent meal and a few pints with good company. The lack of commentary isn't the end of the world as you dont get one at the game anyway (unless you count inane comments from people round you). COYB

Just think when the new stadium is built with the largest scoreboard in the UK, we can watch the game from our seats in the stadium.... we can dream....
