Ryan Brunt also came from a Premier league club.

I don't see where they came from as being relevant really. Gerry Francis built a team out of everyone else's cast offs and he turned them into a decent championship side. If your good enough you can come from Barcelona or Bromley for all I care.

Exactly some of the signings everyone has been excited about, like Easter haven't been as successful as we thought they would be. Some of the signings some fans moaned about like Gaffney, Sinclair and J Clarke have been better than any of us thought, when we signed them. Judge a player once they have played a few games, not because of where they came from.

I thought he was decent last night when he came on. He won all his headers and didn't just win them he directed them to a rovers shirt most of the time and generally put himself around well and linked up with Taylor well considering they'd only just met.

Socrates haven't seen that name on a forum since they banned the old one and you stopped playing for Brazil.
Thought Mc Burnie put himself about a bit last night and didn't give their defenders to much time on the ball it was like having a mini Gaffney on the pitch, he took a fair amount of shifting off the ball for such a slight fella. It was also good to see Easter put in a good performance last night

Don't like this, tbh. Basically some big oaf of a centre back is going to give him a good kicking because of this. OK, wear small shin pads if you want but why keep advertising the fact that you're doing it?

Not sure how that wasn't a handball. More VAR controversy
I believe the official FIFA rules say that if an attacking player touches the ball with any part of his arm in the box, deliberate or not, it's an instant foul - whilst it was an accident, he controlled it with his arm to bring it down.
But fair play to Sheffield Utd, they deserved at least a draw - cracking end to the game

Looked like top of his arm, certainly wasn’t the shoulder.

It was a good goal, didn’t think it was handball. Watching it, he was aware that his arm was near it and tried to hold his arms behind him. Would have been unfair to ruled it out and a fairly quick VAR referral this time agreed it. Blimey, if Man U can do that in 10 minutes and score 3 goals they should be ashamed that they only started to play when 2 down. UTG!

You'd have to be a contortionist to move any part of your arm above that out of the way. Also it hit another part of his bod first, which is mitigating
