You can buy a ticket for 50p from the supporters club bit in the non members bar and then go in the other bar. It's what I normally do as I can't be bothered to queue.

Very true , and the that's why I should've bloody renewed it !! Genuine question though , does a supporters club membership allow you to permit a guest? No but you can get a guest one for 50p at the SC table. I should have read all the replies first!

Or you could join the Supporters Club and get your pint in the other bar, where here are hardly any queues? You can always bring your pint back into the non-Supporters Club bar to drink with your mates. what!? There's another bar that is for ''supporters club'' members only!? Where?? I'm stunned by this. I've been paying to watch Rovers for years so that makes me already in the bloody ''supporters club'' if you ask me! What a cheek!! What have you got to do to get access to this magical other bar with hardly any queue!!?? UTG

I just hope they have catered in the new stadium the fact that two supporters bars will merge into one, and also there are very few pubs round the uwe site.! It's going to be busy on match days !!

I got to the bar around 6:45 and the queue was just over half the room in length but only took under 10 minutes to get to the front. Generally it looks a lot worse than it is and compared to a lot of town bars/pubs the staff are actually reasonably quick...
Mind you by about 7:15 the queue was out of the door...
I'd assume there will be multiple bars at the UWE with more space and staff, maybe even a decent lager on tap too but beggars can't be choosers.

whenever i go in the bar before the game i just work out how many beers i want (2 or 3) then add on 1 for insurance (3 or 4) then i buy 4 beers about 2 hours before kick -off and proceed to drink them rapidly.... meaning i don't need to queue again. you wouldn't queue for anything else twice in one day, so why do it with beer?

Didn't know it existed until a mate said to meet him there.

Quality! Can go on a bar crawl, in the ground, before each game!! UTG They won't exactly be bars though, will they? They'll be like those long beer dispensing hatches at Wembley, all identical.

The problem is, the queue looks as if everyone is standing waiting for the left hand side of the bar to serve. Most people know that queue splits when you get to the front but you get the odd person (s) who think the right hand side of the bar is empty and walk past the queue and go straight up to the bar. who the f**k forms orderly queues at bars anyway, I always thought it was a free for all. That's the whole point of a bar isn't it, to spread the load evenly. We may aswell have serving booths otherwise. Snooze you lose

You need to start drinking earlier.I remember an evening away game at swansea. Rocked up to Eastville at lunch time to get a ticket.i couldnt be bothered going back to work so started in the Black Swan and ended up on a one man pub crawl.i woke up face down in a cemetery, covered in blood and it was dark.i dragged my ass back to the stadium and just managed to jump on the SC coach as it was leaving. I didn't need to drink anymore beer. PS sorry if i killed anyone.

Walk behind the back of the stand, past all the smokers, and you'll see a doorway with a small ramp leading up to it. Open door, walk into 'secret' bar
