What ideas do you have, that could be implemented in a new stadium, that could set us apart from everyone else, and have impact?
I would like at least one side of the ground be "free seating" where if you buy a ticket or have a season ticket you aren't tied to one particular seat. That way you and your mates can still buy season tickets/pay on the day and still be able to congregate together.
I would also like to see us try to tap into some of the large organisations in Bristol, by maybe offering certain matches as offers to the orgs employees, try to tap into MoD >10000 people, UWE>35000 Bristol Uni >30000 HP, BAE, Airbus etc etc
Any others?

Isn't this all a bit premature given we've still no idea when work will start on the new stadium?

The free seating thing... I would imagine that we are going to struggle to sell 20,000 STs. Therefore, just get a ST, once you have established with a new set of mates and you've decided that you want to spend your Saturday afternoons together..transfer your allocated seats to a block.

It would be nice if the new public transport schemes that are being proposed included a stop at the new ground, be it rail or bus wherever the new ground is built.

How about a helipad so our new owners and board members can miss the traffic jams

Implement an entire stand of safe standing. I'm going to miss the terrace more than anything if we leave so I would like the option to stand.

A tie in with local transport operators. Show your ticket, or proof of purchase if collecting from ticket office at the ground, and the bus/train fare for the journey to the stadium is free. This works very well for Brighton home games as I found out when I watched their home game on 13 Feb.

Steep intimdating seating. Not your bog standard bars/foods as you walk around underneath, some style, different food categories instead of ******* pies and *rap beer. Home/away fans mingle zone.

Also, show your public transport ticket and you get reduced entrance fees to places like the Zoo as well.

Not sure if we'll ever see The Eagles or Abba though - given the lead singer of The Eagles is slightly dead and Abba have consistently stated they will never perform again. How about The Beatles? Or maybe we could bring back The Bollards (Eastville veterans will understand!)

I like this idea from the Waldstadion in Frankfurt. It's a gert big box thing, suspended above the pitch, with large screens which show instant replays of the action.

I bet a few Tom Parkes clearances will bounce off that one. Some of them are humungous. Can you imagine being able to watch the actual game with this thing in your face:

I just hope that when they design the seating that they buy seats wide enough for large people such as me, this also impacts thin people as if they have a large person sat next to them, in small seats, they (Inc me) tend to spill over to the seat next door, like what happeneds on budget airlines.

You mean have a Fat Bloke Section somewhere in the stadium?
