The new regime have shown great PR since taking over - but not today. Today we fans really needed reassurance, but it was not forthcoming. The club put out a minimal news page in which it promised
But unless TW was it, we're still waiting.
In fact, I think it was fairly poor form to put TW in front of the camera when he clearly had no clue what the plans were going forward.
I have no reason to believe we won't get a stadium at some point, but we need the club to come forward and say something in order to maintain the trust of fans who are conditioned to be paranoid.

They have already said on numerous occasions that the development of the new stadium was not dependent on this court case or on the sale of the Mem to Sainsbury's.
I am not sure what else they can say.

Toni released a video. That's good enough for me. It's not like he's got a history of talking bollocks or anything so we're all good.
Woo woo.

I don't know what more can be said that hasn't been mentioned already.

You are bang on, this needed to be handled much differently with the press lapping up the negative aspect. A lot of fans who don't read the forums (95%) will be wondering if the last 3 weeks ever happened now. We need a statement from the people who matter.

I am not sure what else they can say. The fact that Michael Cunnah was appointed to the board specifically to oversee a new stadium and Lee Atkins and Steve Hamer have both stated the new stadium will go ahead, means that an immediate statement (apart from Wotola's thing) isn't really necessary.

Steve Hamer said that TW was to be offered the position of CEO, so we might have to get used to seeing more of him in front of the cameras, unfortunately.

Maybe the new regime see it as the old regimes fight. They have already said plenty of times the new stadia is not dependant on today's result. I don't see the issue, oh look that last chapter just fecked off over the horizon, ta ta

I am not sure what else they can say. There is no way, in any world, the millions won or lost from this case is not significant. I just feel the result of the appeal could've been handled much better. The club knew losing was likely - and maybe even knew the result before today - so why wasn't there something more verbose prepared? To say nothing was not the right way to handle this, and it surprises me because the PR up until now has been excellent.
