Not blaming him but he should of saved it,are you mildys wife No, unless he's a gay bigamist? I'm not in the minority either in thinking Mildenhall wasn't too blame. The striker was given a free run at it by our defence.

Lovely composure from Ellis and Taylor. I do feel Leads and Brown could have done better with those conceded but guess they made up for it with the assists. Few players asleep at the wrong times lately. We built the early part of the season on our solid defence. I hope it doesn't cost us in the remaining games. This. It worries me as was similar at say Carlisle and we got beat despite scoring two. Can't blame absence of Lockyer now! Although yesterday was more individual errors than Carlisle where we had pushed up creating too much space, but too many stray long balls is something we need to avoid too. Exeter is gonna be tough if we don't sort it and we really need something from every remaining game

I don't think Mildenhall should have saved it, but the cross into the box is fairly loopy and from quite a deep position, so part of me thinks he could have come out and caught/punched it rather than staying rooted to his line?
Having said that, the cross into the box was far too easy and our closest player to the crosser should never have stood off like he did.

I think that Browner could have blocked their guy for the first goal but instead he allowed him to get goalside.
I am not really moaning because i realise that with the benefit of hindsight you could analyse and prevent every goal that is scored and I think that Browner has been outstanding for much of the season.

True, but it does show up two weaknesses - Brown has never been good at defending high crosses and Mildenhall hardly ever comes for a cross.

Two quality finishes, schoolboy defending for the Northampton goals and a well earned point. Cut out the individual errors and nodding off at crucial moments and the Gas are going up
