Pathetic post Ive been going for 30 years. Why is there always a portrayal on this forum that fans who want the people in charge of this club to do a better job are some how the bad guys ? Also people have tried to buy the club but they have valued it higher then clubs like Aston Villa. They are blocking investment not welcoming it. so the solution is to relentlessly bash the board just repeating the same old stuff without being able to do anything? it was a cheap shot by me though because of course you and others are loyal long time supporters i just get frustrated because just saying "sack the board" etc isnt a solution to the problem. When did i say sack the board ? I said release the result of the review as promised

To be fair to Dins , he isnt asking for something that wasn't promised is he?

The board said it has been completed and this was some time ago. I for one am not going to give up until its published as promised despite the pressure from people on gaschat to forget about it. Keeping the faith and hoping for the best is nice and all that but hasnt worked so far. And therein lies the crux of the issue, nh said he will publish the results, i dont care if it states the board are godlike or if it states the board are sh**, i just want him to keep promises etc, as i've said earlier for a lot of people it's just one broken promise after another, lets hope the club break the cycle

So sorry to hear posts such as Dins. I really hope we can make massive strides forward this season. I understand your fruststartions and I sincerely hope when Nick announces detils of his review you feel things are getting better. All I can promise you is as long as I'm invited by you to represent you I shall do all I can to help get your views across and and your concerns addressed. best wishes Bri the main issue is he hasnt publishd them yet though, hence why people are getting frustrated whilst some posite measures have been put in pace , ie fans meeting with the clb, theres still many negative like of closing, review not being published, jw being blamed for everything, nh needs to do the things he has said he will do asap ,then maybe fans would slowly start trusting again, on a seperarte issue bri, did you ever get an answer from the club on the issues i raised about diability

"JW being blamed for everything" not sure that's not an unreasonable suggestion given he signed the players & picked the team etc?

If the report backs that up with what the BoD are doing to safeguard the club from a manager making so many mistakes in the future I will be ok with that. The fact is, they have reported bigger all.

the only way any review would be usefull would be if it was conducted by an independent source given full access to brfc,so i cant get all exited about a review by nick higgs etc it wouldnt be valid anyway

I have my doubts about it but im still interested in comparing my own views of what has gone wrong to the board. Peharps the views will be similar ?? That would be reassuring.

It will happen, it's a bit like your mum saying " in a minute Dinsdale " infact she might get back to you in five minutes. You can't sack your mum for taking a little longer !

Why do people keep linking my posts to sacking the board which is something i have never said. I would like the club to be run better and to be open to new investment however i have never believed that the current board cant be that positive change if they just took a different approach. Anyway, Your Mum !!!!!

All signs indicate that it is in the post dins. Brian said its coming. I will be interested to read it too but I gotta say, I dunno how much its gonna reveal. Or whether or not it will serve to pacify or inflame.

Very disappointing in my view that the results of the review have not been announced before the start of the season or are they just waiting and hoping we make a good start and can then say how the results of the review are paying dividends! Results of the review now in It was all John Wards fault sir, honest it was and before that it was all that nasty Lennie Lawrence's fault. I mean, look how badly we did when he was here. FA cup qtr final, JPT final and promotion. Yes, it was ALL his bloody fault.

Or whether or not it will serve to pacify or inflame. It will do both probably. The two things i most want to hear are 1. We will start making the budget what we realistically will receive in turnover over the year rather then £500000 higher. (For our long term survival) 2. Something very thorough about improving our player recruitment (scouting at first team and youth level) The constant debt increase year on year puts not only our future at risk but reduces the likelihood of a takeover. Also the relative success of my era has been as a result of excellent scouting. We ballsed that up and need to put it back on track. Id be happy with that

Both good and sensible asks Dins, I think we would all be happy with those.

Id be happy with that If the BoD are prepared to keep ploughing £500K of their own money into the club every year umtil the UWE is built why should they be discouraged? What they do need to do is ensure the budget is spent on players like Smith & not wasted on the likes of Kenneth & Gill. Scouting wise DC seems to be doing a reasonable job so far, but what we need to do his target young players, like Smith, not journey men.
