Even game, you sound like a Yeovil fan, we completely destroyed Yeovil in the first 45 mins, Yeovil only created any chances late in the 2nd half, on another day we could have ran out easy winners.

Montano, Bodin and Taylor deserve a 5. Shocking misses/ passing. Lines at fault for the goal which nearly cost us a 5.5. The old man in goal a 5.5. Too slow getting down for Lita goal and from that angle!! The rest of the side a 6.5. We dug deep for a win which was just about deserved on chances but a pretty even game in play. Pleased in the end but if you can miss chances like that and still win then that's fine by me.

Having seem the highlights Mildenhall should have saved Lita's shot. Totally agree, could see that coming from the moment we gave away possession in midfield, so not sure why Mildy couldn't. Not MOM for that in my view and agree its prob Gaffers who looked rampant at times yesterday. Love the way he drifts about the pitch, even when he sits out wide as defences can't keep their shape when he does that. Without wishing to wake Boner from his slumber, I also think 6 is harsh on Taylor. He got a goal FFS and I thought showed some touches of brilliance, prob had more chances than usual as a result, but conversion let him down a bit I think if we play like yesterday 4 more times we will nick it, and given generally we know we can play better. I think the dream is more than a possibility, its almost ours to lose Excited!

Steve, I believe you will find that everyone has been told that they will get another year if we go up. That is how it should be, as the motivation at this stage is vital even if we believe some of the players may not be worth retaining at a higher level. i may be wrong but i dont think that will happen this time around,i believe some players will not be offered new contracts next season even if we dont go up.

Good write-up Steve.
As for Easter and starting him in midfield, I like Easter playing behind two strikers (e.g Taylor and Gaffney), but playing him next to Lines in a 4-4-2 is something I wouldn't even try on FIFA. It would be a disaster IMO.

I didn't say that. I said they have all been told they will be offered another deal IF THEY GO UP. If they think they won't be retained, why would they bust a gut in the remaining games?. In fact it's not even debatable. The offer has already been made. And quite right too.

Thanks for the write up Steve. I thought montano was dreadful yesterday and should have come off sooner.
But he did give it his all and tracked back well he just gave the ball away far too much

Thanks for the review Steve. I always look forward to reading it as I cant get to as many games as I'd like. I also have really enjoyed the previews you have recently started writing. Keep up the good work.

So when you give your view that Taylor, Lines, Mildenhall Brown,Lockyer..you get the drift?dont play well that's just saying they don't play well etc, etc. But I am slagging them off with how I think they played? I don't get that one but don't bother to explain. Just ignore me and don't reply.

Topper Gas as I see it the only thing defensive about Ollie Clarke is that he puts the odd tackle in. At Carlisle we took Ollie Clarke off and if anything we were defensively better off but definitely in midfield we improved. Easter was much better because he demands the ball and Lines does the same thing. However I would add that if DC is happy with Ollie Clarke then that is good enough for me.

If you don't give a Man of the match based on one possible mistake (ie Mildenhall) then you may as well not give a Man of the Match because you could also say that Gaffneys chip in the second half was a terrible miss and count him out as well or Tom Lockyer when he fell down. There was some absolutely dreadful passing yesterday where a simple pass went staright to the opposition and that was by a variety of players so you could rule them out as well.

Mildy is good at point blank saves but anything along the floor either side of him he's fooked,I know how he feels though I struggle getting over to do my laces up or put my socks on now....it's called getting older

I realize I'm flying in the face of popular opinion but I didn't think Gaffney was as amazing as everyone else yesterday.
For long periods their No3 had him well covered and their defensive play kept both our strikers quiet.

That's very different than "given the contract they want".
