From Ricardo on IF just had an email confiming sainsburys have made an appeal to the secretary of state regarding the council's decision not to grant permission to ammend delivery hours to between 0500 and 00:00. I guess this can be looked at in one of 2 ways: Good as it indicates they still intend to build it. Bad as it could be seen as a delaying tactic if they are just trying to get out of it! What will happen if they get tuned down?
I presume they think it is easier to get it changed after planning Permission than before otherwise why not do it in the first place?
I wouldn't be happy with midnight deliveries if I lived by there

I wouldn't be happy with midnight deliveries if I lived by there If I am not mistaken then at the moment deliveries must be made between midnight and 05.00. Surely it would be better for all if deliveries could happen during normal working hours with a restriction during rush hours?

Not a fan of supermarkets doing this. They agree conditions to keep locals happy and pass the planning permission, then push for them to be changed.
In saying that, I could care less in this case. Is this going to hold the project up?

Is this going to hold the project up? Nope this is small fry, other big fish to catch yet They still have to sort out the pre commencement issues with BCC and some changes to the 106 (Again)
