Last night was a bit of a downer but it could be worse...could be a City fan singing songs abusing your own fans then arguing about it on the Internet! There are some spectacular quotes on this thread, my favourite being "I'm starting to hate a good percentage of city fans." Can always count on the red ***** to brighten my day... link

In fairness we have nothing to be sad about - still in the fight. Not interested in 82.

That is dynamite. Some really good stuff in there, a real pick-me-up read for a rainy day.
I suppose this is what happens when you try to artificially force an atmosphere where none previously existed though. They should probably just stick to what they know best - sitting quietly in their seats whilst secretly obsessing about Rovers.
God bless 'em for providing us with the gift of laughter though, bravo!

First time I've looked on there, and well what can I say, just brilliant. My personal favourite was "Perhaps the offensive songs are best saved for 85-90 minutes, when most of the stadium have left" Also, section 82? They've had to start a group to try and get an atmosphere going? Shows how dull it really must be down there. I was feeling pretty deflated after last night but this has cheered me up.

The whole section 82 thing is a tad embarrassing.
"8 men had a dream, to save a football team"
I'm sure when they were growing up they couldn't wait to be pressured by thousands of people to tear up their contracts to save a football club.

I can recall the odd occasion when the Blackthorn have chanted "can you hear the Dribuild sing ......" etc but usually it's very light humoured and tends to be when a group of Blackthorners have a few mates who have chosen to sit in the hospitality seats for a game. But god forbid we ever refer to our own fans as Special lady gardens. I thought it was only Buckle that did that!!

They appear to be trying to emulate us by a) adopting a derogatory term as a nickname and err .. b) creating an atmosphere. I don't understand the fuss on their forum, a pathetic excuse for a song but factually correct. AG is a library frequented by lady gardens

Errrm....8 men had a dream...bet that dream didn't include having dog sh** posted through their letterboxes by their own so called fans..?!!!
or leaving local businesses high and dry owing them thousands of pounds..?!
FFS......Imagine naming a section of the ground after what was arguably the shits most embarrassing date in their short history
Vile Club...vile Fans

Is it section 82 after the year they were formed? Or they do a head count to see how many fans are still there

They say people fall out with those closest so I suppose it's hardly surprising considering they're all related to each other.
