Was larger than every league 2 match and 6 games in league 1 and only a handful less than Swindon, Port Vale and MK Dons - pretty impressive me thinks!

Also, fair play to all the Grimsby fans who came down, must be a bit of mission from there for a lunchtime kick off!

Yet again a magnificent showing from the fans.
A reasonable showing from the team.
But a no-show from the Chairman?? Since we don't know where he was, and I find it hard to believe he was sunning himself on a tropical beach, I am assuming he was locked in a bunker with Sainsbury's lawyers, bandana on, shirt off, oiled up and arm-wrestling them to decide the winner.

A good attendance (about 2,000 more than I thought we would have). Thought the atmosphere was good (vocal, supportive, understanding, and a good smattering of humour). On the way to the ground I could hear the crowd about a mile away before kick off. I think you could see the players appreciated the support.

Not sure if it was sarcastic, but I heard a guy in front of me ask his mate if Jamie White was Devon White's son.

Incredible crowd given that the internal & external reviews have produced naff all!!!
Just goes to show that the fans will turn up regardless.
Higgs & Co continue to run the circus and take what they can.
Progress........?

We are lucky supporting a team in one of the country's biggest cities.

Thought it was a great attendance and a cracking atmosphere at times too.
If we had a good team to get behind it'd be scary. Hopefully this is the season...

I know I've said it before but, when we were in:
2nd tier : approximately 6000 3rd tier : approximately 6000 4th tier : approximately 6000
i'll bet that our gate this season will be: approximately 6000

Under Holloways good seasons we got a lot more then 6000 and our championship years we were not playing in Bristol.
Bristol is a big city and our loyal fans deserve some success

We got 7,000 and Alfreton and Welling both got less than 700.
How the hell do they financially survive on gates that low?
If all 700 paid £18 that's only £12,600 revenue per game and £289,800 for the whole season - And we think we're if financial trouble??
