Will presumably be away, if as I believe the season starts on August 6th. The balloon festival takes place over the period covering the 13th August, so we will be home that weekend, as the police tend to get involved in that one.
If so, where do we want to go first game? For me it's-:
Coventry (Twatolas team) Bolton Sheff Utd MK Dons
but not necessarily in that order.
Of course, it could be Fleetwood for the weekend at Blackpool.

If they don't go up then Walsall as it's a nice short trip up the M5, hopefully it won't be one of the promoted Div 2 sides. There's some big clubs, attendance wise, dropping down to Div 1 for next season compared to the two clubs already promoted Charlton 15,632 Bolton 15,056 MK Dons 13,158 www.worldfootball.net/attendance/eng-league-one-2015-2016/1/Can we make the top 10 in the attendance league come next May?

Walsall, Cov, Swindon, Charlton... just somewhere we'll take a decent following! I suspect we'll be away to Barnsley or someone though, for a real baptism of fire!

You are right Topper. I forgot about Walsall. That should be the first beam back sorted then. No trouble selling that one out

I remember going up there in the FA Cup some years ago. Saw one of our finest hit a Rovers fan over the head with his truncheon. At the time, the fan was carrying his young daughter. I brought it it to the attention of some other cop who seemed to be in charge, and was politely told to f* ck off or I'd get the same. That's when it really started to get naughty, and ended almost in a riot. Sh*t place and sh*t cops.

Will be somewhere like Peterborough or Scunthorpe! Didn't we get spanked a couple of times at Peterborough on the opening day? The 07 promotion season and the relegation season a few years later?

Port Vale like the last time we went up to league 1. Huge away end and not really that hard a journey.

Met some Barnsley lads and lassies in Thailand a few years ago, they said they never wanted to see us there again as our fans were horrendously behaved, I wasn't there so unsure tbh. Think we lost 5-1 mind..

It often works out that relegated teams meet promoted teams on the 1st couple of weekends so if we don't play away at Bolton, Charlton or MK Franchise I am sure one of them will be our 1st home opponents
