It was merchandise bought in for if we went to Wembley, spoke to the lady in the shop yesterday. I did ask if it was the end of an Errea but she said she was unaware.

Seems a bit weird, though, doesn't it. It's not last years stuff. And if it's this years stuff, they wouldn't have to discount it. So, it's just kinda on its own.

I avoid red most of the time, but that's because I don't really like the colour more than Rovers/C!ty reasons.
I've got one of those '66 England jumpers in red and it's bloody wonderful

Wouldn't it be great to have Nike make our kit. Come on Wael... I don't get the Nike love-in. Nor the desire a lot of people have for a 'branded' kit. I've been really happy with seven of the last 10 kits Errea have done for us, and only one of the other three I have actively disliked. I still wear my 2007/2008 home kit regularly and it's in great condition and has lasted far longer and been worn on many more occasions than some brand name sportswear I've owned. Having said that, I know the majority disagree with me so could be a sensible business decision bringing in a 'name' to supply our next kit.

cmon mate now ur just purposely trying to bait people. We're Gasheads, we don't want our boys playing in red, ever! UTG You'd be suprised I reckon. We are missing a trick and when I gauged opinion a while back, there was a mixed response. There are the vociferous ones who wouldn't drive a red car or wear a red pair of socks but others see the marketing value and the flexibility it would give us. *dislike*

I was told we are locked into a contract with Errea so I would think we would have to buy ourselves out first. I was also told we will be getting a lot more modern casual stuff(not just crossed swords)in the shops before the start of next season.

I was a bit confused about where the sale merchandise had come from as well. Makes sense if it was potential Wembley stuff. It doesn't look anywhere near as nice as the actual training gear for this season imo.
Don't get me wrong I'm not a massive errea fan but I think their stuff is better than a lot give it credit for.
My 07/08 home shirt is still going strong as well

It ran out two years ago, and has just been allowed to run.

They only have a few designs. Whilst I am not the biggest fan of Errea, there are many other decent makers out there. Even a lot of premiership teams are going away from all the Nike, adidas kits.

Agreed. If we do change supplier I wouldn't mind someone like New Balance giving it a go.

I'm sure I heard someone say Macron before our last match. Either way I'd hazard a guess that next seasons training kit was brought in early as per usual and the board decided they won't put up with the late delivery dates we always get with the home and away shirts and bombed Errea out.
