Club still mentioning trash and the loss of football league money. Appeared to be saying they need every supporter to spend £4 per head on top of their ticket price to break even. Also mentioning the Annexe as a place to drink as it supports Rovers. Mentioning with no names given, that other business premises in the area were trash supporters and inferring we should avoid them. Club obviously very concerned about our financial position it would appear.

Does a pasty count towards the £4 ?
I think it's fair enough trying to promote fans spending their money in the ground rather than other establishments outside ( possible trash supporters) .

Why are we still mentioning TRASH, their campaign has ended?
It would appear that Sainsbury's are now the ones trying to scupper thr plans by employing delay tactics.

I don't see any problem with it at all. Dear supporters, we need every penny you can give us. Please spend your hard earned on our premises rather than the surrounding area. No problem with that message at all. It just makes sense for Rovers fans to spend money at the ground rather than surrounding businesses really.

Personally I wouldn't want to support those businesses , you or others might but as they tried to hurt us I think it's only fair to return the favour. To sum up .... * 'em !

I wonder how many of the 2514 at Chester were home supporters. They wouldn't have gone home too happy

I think it would be a good thing to promote fans using the bars and food outlets. Get some decent offers on and some entertainment in and it may work

We should look beyond our last 10 years of cabaret and a chicken basket supper crud and get some stand up comedy, classic Rovers matches shown, ex player speeches etc.

Sorry hit return before i finished ! The UWE are holding up with there extra demands Does that explain the recent press statement from UWE ? And does it mean "if you cannot afford to build the stadium exactly in line with the original plans then there will be no stadium" ?

And does it mean "if you cannot afford to build the stadium exactly in line with the original plans then there will be no stadium" ? more like the UWE want more use of the stadium than original agreement & issues with Overflow Car parks
