I know you can't make any conclusions from betting odds but DC has just entered the Skybet odds for the Leeds job at 6/1.

No manager lasts more than 6 months at Leeds. Would have to be mad to go there.

Given Leeds don't even have a clue over the future of their current manager, I doubt they're in a concrete position to be considering new managers. So don't read too much into it at the moment.

Any FL manager who's had a degree of success lately will be linked with other FL jobs when they come up. I bet Chris Wilder is even on the list!

SSN saying its guuna be Karl Robinson of MK Dons. Blimey, that's a terrible decision. Not saying Robinson isn't a decent manager, but wrong for their situation. In a weird way I can't help but feel like Steve Evans is, in fact, perfect for Leeds.

The chairman is clearly a volatile egotistical maniac who sacks people as often as the mafia shoots them. Anyone who goes to work for him probably needs shooting or the money very badly!

Perhaps the lads in Vegas have bet some of thier winnings on DC getting the Leeds job as a joke as it's baffling who else is putting big money on DC getting the job, unless it's a Leeds insider?

There has been a flurry of betting activity in the last 24 hours for Bristol Rovers manager Darrell Clarke becoming the next manager of Championship side Leeds United. At the time of writing, Clarke is now the third-favourite for the vacancy, which is the same price as Steve Evans remaining in charge. MK Dons manager Karl Robinson remains the outright favourite for now, although his price has started to drift. Oldham Athletic boss John Sheridan is a name which continues to be mentioned to the vacancy, whilst today Evans admitted his frustrations at not knowing his Elland Road future. It is certainly no surprise that Clarke has started to be linked to other managerial vacancies. Although Bristol Rovers fans won’t be keen on seeing their boss leave the Memorial Ground, the fact of that matter is he has guided the club to back-to-back promotions and will natural be linked to other roles. He was officially handed the job in March 2014 when replacing John Ward, but couldn’t prevent the club from dropping into the Vanarama National League. He immediately guided the club back into the Football League when defeating Grimsby Town in the Play-Off Final, before securing an automatic promotion spot in League One over the past season. Clarke, who played over 100 times for former clubs Mansfield Town, Hartlepool United and Salisbury City, is a name that is starting to come with a larger reputation. League One will be the highest level he has coached at next season, but if Leeds come in with a serious offer, could he turn down the chance to manage in the Championship whilst his stock is high? It is certainly interesting to see that his price has appeared out of nowhere for the role, after previously not being mentioned over a week ago. It could lead to nothing, but it is still a situation worth monitoring. Until we hear from Massimo Cellino, we won’t know much more about the Leeds manager situation. Let us not forget, Steve Evans is still under contract for the next month, so everyone needs to have a resolution eventually. the72.co.uk/54846/betting-support-for-league-two-boss-becoming-leeds-manager/ Read more: gasheads.org/thread/5231/clarke-leeds-started#ixzz49TymKNlU

Who said anybody is putting big money on him? Isn't that how odds work? Not necessarily on this type of market and so early on. DC is bound to be shortish on any managerial vacancies in the championship because of what he has recently achieved. On this type of market, 6/1 is nothing and could just be the bookies pricing up on what they think.
