Hugo. What's your opinion on Jamborees? Couldn't eat a whole one. I appreciate your valued opinion....

I heard Will Grigg was on fire, maybe they couldn't put him out in time?

I have my opinions about players as well as everyone else on here, and in my opinion Gosling tackles like a 10 year old girl with one leg in a splint, as for Lawrence, he scored one good goal from a free kick, and then was injured for the rest of the season. We have been down the road of signing "older" players in the past and we all know that they are more likely to be injury prone. Do we really want to sign players to lie on the treatment table? If we do then I will sign straight away as I like a good rub down (Not to be confused with a rub "up" that so many on here enjoy)

And as for the OP even if Taylor does sign for another club it doesn't mean he will be any good for them. Taylor feeds off the players around him and that has taken time for that to develop. I think we will find someone else.

Right. Let's get something straight re Jake and Liam L.
Jake gosling is 22. He has been played mainly as a winger (which I don't feel is his ideal position, I see him as a creative midfielder or hole type player). He looks very neat and tidy with the ball and played at Wembley. He's still learning and DC brought him off the bench to play his part in one of the most crucial games as a football club we have had, of all time. In this match he looked pretty good and nutmegged a player to play in Easter for that pass to Matt T. DC is no fool and he has stuck with JG for a reason. Just because he doesn't streak past his full back at 100mph doesn't make him a bad player, I think his future is more central though.
LL is a massively experienced player who has done a lot in football, can probably pursuade better young players to join us and adds to the team tactics and gives advice to younger players. LL has lots of class but no pace and I think his legs have gone really, but he is massively useful against slower teams and the last 15 mins - like Walters did for us for 83 games pretty well.
I'm no expert but there is more to a football squad than pitch ability and whatever career you are in, I bet you were greatly helped by older hands who explained and helped you learn the job. I bet Ollie Clarke etc are pleased to have some experience, not just from lines, Mansell, mild, m m c, but a player who went even further in the game.

I think he's gone. I wish someone would sign Lawrence and the useless Gosling DC picks these lads to play and he is a professional football manager. WTFeck do you do for a living? Well I am a locksmith, but I did teach in London for 22 years and during that time ran a few school footy teams, some of which I brought down as "team of the day". Now that does not make me a Professional manager, but I did have the following players in teams when I taught at Christ's School in Richmond Clinton Morrison (was Chambers) Jody Morris Jason Roberts and Nathan Ellington, and I have to say that without my presence it would have been very unlikely that he would have signed for Rovers Plus since 1968 I suppose I have seen around 1200 Rovers games Before I was a teacher I drove a wagon and drawbar over a lot of Europe. And you?

But he does not tackle and that is a fact Lines tackles like a 10 year old choirboy but he can play a fantastic pass - Just Like Gosling has to Easter and will do in the future

Could be worst, it could have been Aidan McCaffery style tackle
